Widdi wrote:Picked up a fully functioning Nintendo Entertainment System today, along with the Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt game for $17.99 at a local thrift store. Tomorrow I'll be checking out every yard sale and thrift shop in town for more games.

I love retro gaming. I'll take the NES over something like the PS3 any day.
Thats a excellent deal for a working NES system. Did you get the NES, or the NES2? The 2 looks more like a SNES, and it has a cart slot like the SNES.

New make-up. I got Benefit's Posietint, a cheek stain that makes one look as if you've just blushed and it smells really good :D .

I bought Jonas Brothers tickets last night! We're in the back row, but I wasn't willing to pay any more than the cheapest (non-lawn seat) price. I'm excited, and my friend will be seeing them in concert for the first time!

Wall-e and Eve plushes from the Disney Store. 2 for $10, I think. I got the smaller plushes, which look ever-so-slightly different than the ones in the picture, but I'm too lazy to take a picture of the ones I got.

Got some pretty good things (couldn't find the Disney version of this thread if there even is one)

- Muppets Christmas Carol (VHS) - $1.50
- Frankenpooh (VHS) - $1.50
- Winnie the Pooh: Seasons of Giving (VHS) - Free
- Nightmare Before Christmas: Special Edition DVD - $1.50

Now for the more expensive items

He-Man Masters of the Universe Volumes 1 and 2 - $20.99 each
Animaniacs Volume 1 - $52.99

Animaniacs was a last minute grab, was going to skip it due to the large price tag, but was the last one so didn't want to chance not being able to find it again.

Amy have you ever actually seen plushies that look like the ones you posted? All I have come across are really off-model plush toys that I really do not like the look of, but those two are incredibly cute. I would buy them in a heartbeat.

I really hope those aren't just prototype pictures and the ugly (IMO) plushies that have been released are all we are going to get.

WALL-E and EVE action figures from Wal Mart. $9.97 each.

I wanted to buy the interactive Wall-E but they only had one left and it's voice sounded really weird. Hopefully more will arrive in stock soon.

Samsung ML-2851ND Laser Printer - clearance price $39.99 (regular price $229.99)

Been wanting a laser printer for awhile, and at this price it was impossible to say no. It has built in networking, and duplex printing. Can't wait to set it up on my network tomorrow.

I had them as well. Not sure what happened to mine either; haven't thought about them in years.

Cool find, JC91!
