Anyway, MickeyMousePal, don't you buy most of your movies at Costco?
I usually buy Disney DVD's at Best Buy or Circuit City if they have a free item or lower price.
Other then that I go to Costco or buy online on Columbia House.

Yea, and I'll cover Best Buy because I'm a Best Buyer. :p

But (I think) it was DVDJUNKIE who said that Best Buy was giving a carriage looking thing with the Cinderella DVD. I'm not quite sure, so don't quote me.

I can say, however, that something will be given away for free when Cinderella comes out. I can't wait to see Best Buy and Circuit City battle it out again (like when they did THE INCREDIBLES promotion..) :eye:

Cinderella DVD

Post by Disney Duster »

Disneybell, you know what is also great about Cinderella? It was originally done in Fullscreen, so when you see the movie on DVD it will be in a dazzling restoration in Fullscreen, the way it was made, without any black bars that make it hard for you to see the film! So it will be great for your eyes! Unfortunately Lady and the Tramp was originally done in Widescreen, but what can you do?

I dont shop there or at amazon.

When I want a dvd a buy it at a store, or get it through columbia house.
My preference is to go to Wal-Mart, Best-Buy or Target. When I am buying a movie I want it now, not in a few days and then you never know if your getting the right thing.

Not on domestic orders over $25 they don't. And Amazon's shipping also takes a lot less time than DeepDiscountDVD. And orders through Amazon actually give back something to this site, which is something that there is certainly not an excess of.

Well, if Disney goes OAR on us, you'll be seeing Lady and the Tramp in the widest way possible... Also, the others do have black bars, but that's the only way to see the full frame!

It could be your TV is set on Pan and Scan mode. It does that with my TV when I watch Prince of Egypt... Either that or you bought fullscreen (not sure if Platinums have a choice)...

So do you people think its better to order from amazon or deepdiscountdvd? since amazon is like 19 bucks and like 20 cents with shipping but deepdiscountdvd has free shipping, so its only like 18 bucks.

I'd be glad if giving that extra buck away means a longer life span for UD.com!
