Hmm I thought they said in an email that the pilots were included in the sets?

I would suggest writing a letter and/or emailing BVHE letting them know you are buying these two sets and that you want the pilot episodes in a future release.

Yes. If they don't have any plans to release them, we need to let them know we want them

It seems some online stores are already shipping them out. You can see a scan of the back of DuckTales here (click on the thumbnail.)

Sweet! Thanks for sharing :)
Hopefully 'digitally mastered' means that Disney put the effort in to do a restoration.

I would love that but I don't have much hope, if they had done it it would probably have said "digitally remastered." :)

I'm worried about 'some of the most memorable Ducktales episodes'... I hope they aren't up to their ususal ways...

I think that is just marketing speak. I can't imagine - especially given this is Volume 1 - that they have released a hacked up "best of".

After all, Disney are notorious for not listing the entire box contents on the back of the box.

Thanks for the pic. I doubt anyone is already selling the DVDs because it is against the law to sell anything before its given release date.

Online stores like axelmusic.com and amazon.com will already have them in stock and awaiting to dispatched to everyone that have pre-ordered the DVDs already.

They will have scanned the back of the box for their site

Quite often Amazon will ship something out in advance of the release date to me. I assume this is because it will not actually arrive until on/after the release date in Australia.

If there really is such a law for DVDs then no one must care about it, because in my experience online stores tend to ship out stuff as soon as they get it (maybe not if the distributor specifically requests it or threatens with legal action beforehand, but...). I've had DVDs arrive before release date a couple of times, and that's including a week of shipping over the Atlantic.

Are they animated? Music?

It's nice to finaly put the thought that Disney provided any bells and/or whistles to rest.
