^ Yeah, that's majorly overdramatic. And nothing is ever going to compare to Pocahontas's rewriting of a real person's life. Most moviegoers have never read The Snow Queen. I would wager that the average person knows less about that tale than any other fairy tale Disney has made.

Good answer RayCRP! Yes, I meant the magic that made her dress would make her crown. I still think with her saying "it looks like I'm the queen" and making a new ice palace, she would want a new crown to go with her own new kingdom.

Thanks for the picture Warm Regards! I like those crowns better than the final ones in the movie!

I would love a sequel as long as it is made by Walt Disney Animation Studios. (Just think what difference it would have made if all the straight to DVD movies had been made by WDAS, they would have been in a whole different league then those horrible sequels we know today...) And I would want Hans to return, and I would like to see more of both him and Elsa in "Frozen 2".

Also don't forget, that Lasseteer and Iger said that there will be no DTV Movies except if it pertains to The Disney Fairies and The Disney Princess line. That's why Ariel's Beginning still went through and as well as The Tinker Bell Films.

Lol I'm the total opposite of this, if they don't bring Hans back. I'm not going to see the movie.

Hans or nothing.

Lolz I don't want any Hans either. :D

The only storyline I wouldn't like in a sequel would be something like Elsa meeting other people who can control elements like her: a prince from India that can firebend, or a girl that airbends...Not that it's bad, it's just that it's very cliched and been done to death by other movies/shows. Disney wouldn't add anything new to their take on that storyline.

Agreed on both points. A cameo from Hans would be fine, but making him the villain again would just be dumb. He's not some supreme being that can keep coming back for more. He's just some dude who got put in his place. Leave him there.

And yes, Elsa should remain "special". To introduce others who have powers would be to take away from her "snow queen-ness".

I found Hans really bland. I really wouldn't miss him if he wasn't in the sequel.

Not that I particularly want a sequel but that's a different point.
I would like to know how Elsa got her powers in the first place so maybe her and Anna could go history hunting together.

I'm super excited to get to own this in two weeks. I know the US have already got it :glare: but I'm not jealous....I swear.
Settling Soul mates? That is grim. And I've played Monopoly alone.

3D Blu in October, according to Stitch. They're pretty reliable.

You guys.

I agree that they shouldn't keep him as the villian, because most people were completely ticked off when he changed from a goofy guy, to sociopath, & I really want him to atone, get better. Realize that he's done wrong, have a brother help him out. Maybe even die in a " take the bullet " moment, proving to the characters and audience, that he meant it.

Plus what can he do ? It's not like he's Jafar or Hades and has magical powers or anything, he's just a man who's nuts. If he even tried to revenge the kingdom, Kristoff and Elsa would knock him out easy, and it would make him look really, really stupid.

I want Hans backstory, I want to meet some of his bros. Maybe instead of Hans we get a twin bro who comes to make amends with Arendelle. But nobody trusts him cuz he looks like Hans. :D

as for the thing about Anna with powers, I just dont like it b/c it seems kinda lazy idea for a sequel plot. "What do we do for the sequel? lets give Anna fire powers! then we repeat the same story from the original!" too many of the dtvs where just repeating the originals story with the main characters kids. I hated that.

Well regarding the plot idea about others with special powers.

The Troll did ask the king if she was born or cursed with the powers, so it's safe to say that there have been others with special powers too, given the troll has probably seen them in order to be able to unfreeze the damage Elsa did to Anna's head injury.

I hope they put a more unique twist in the plot of others having powers IF they go that route.

Even though I'd prefer to have the film stand on its own, if they must go forward with the sequel(s) I would like it/them to be a more faithful retelling of The Snow Queen so that in essence Frozen serves as a prequel to the original story. Like, something bad happens to Anna and Kristoff, Elsa gets ostracized from the kingdom, shuts off her emotions/becomes evil and (sort of) closer in nature to the HCA version of the character. The sequel would also introduce Kai and Gerda, and then the third movie would be all about Elsa's redemption after she witnesses Gerda's sacrifice.

Knowing Disney something like this would never pass (too dark and they'd lose two of their flock of golden pink geese, and the actual sequel will probably be about something frivolous like Elsa finding a love interest.

I disagree. She would still be the only with ice powers and the only one who is queen.
Mooky wrote: and the actual sequel will probably be about something frivolous like Elsa finding a love interest.
I expect that will at least be the B plot of a sequel. But it's going to be very hard for them to build up a love interest worthy of her; they've always had trouble with that, imo.

I'm surprised so many people would want to see Hans again. I mean, I like the character in Frozen, but what else would there be to tell about that character? I don't see him as a Ursula/Jafar/Maleficent type who could pull off coming back with a vengeance. His only worth as a villain is his ability to deceive others about his intentions, which is impossible now that the characters know everything about him. The most I could see him doing is trying to get other kingdoms to go to war with Arendelle by making Elsa sound like a threat to them, but that would be really boring and moreover what would he get out of that? He wouldn't become king of Arendelle in Elsa or Anna's place if he got rid of them now; that would be one of his older brothers or somebody else entirely. Elsa could totally destroy them anyway.

Further corroborating the report about the October launch of the 3D Blu, the Edelweiss book catalog has the following listing for the book Elsa's Gift:

http://edelweiss.abovethetreeline.com/P ... 148471699X

You'll notice under "Key Selling Points" to the right:
SUPER SYNERGY: Frozen will have extensive company-wide marketing leading up to the October 2014 3-D DVD/BluRay release. There will be support for Frozen across consumer product divisions, including videogames, electronics, toys, apparel, stationery, and home furnishings.
Clearly wasn't meant to go public just yet. Among the other key selling points is that the movie has already made $400 million domestically, which it probably won't do until March 23rd, give or take.

That Was Amazing. This guy is so talented and how he's able to mimic the voices of these differ wide range of characters from Jack Sparrow to Mickey Mouse is just astounding. This has made me smile and laugh during a week where I haven't smiled or been able to laugh due to certain circumstances. Thank you for finding that, I really appreciate it.
