Yeaaaaaaah, that sounds graphic for a kids' movie and pretty random. Plus, I think "the frozen heart" means to be evil like the prophecy. And I don't think that there has been anything about a "frozen heart" since the synoposis from last August.

Nothing to discuss here. That tumblr account says that the info has been announced but doesn't bother posting the source for said announcement.

Will anyone be attending Siggraph this year? There will be a behind-the-scenes Frozen panel there.
Frozen: The Craft of Character and Cold

Walt Disney Animation Studios gives a first-time, behind-the-scenes look at their November 2013 film, "Frozen". Attendees learn how the team of artists and technologists created the film's characters through visual development, rigging, animation, and advanced rendering tools, and discover how the elements of cold - ice, snow and frost - were brought to life through new simulation techniques.

Same tumblr from my last post:
frozendailydose wrote:Anna having a frozen heart has been CONFIRMED by Disney. By who, when and where I cannot remember.

Anna dying if her heart melts is an UNCONFIRMED RUMOR around Disney and we will wait to find out. Though through some logical reasoning, there is a high possibility this is true.
I've been searching around, and disneyprincess11, you're correct. None of the newer plot summaries mention a "frozen heart". So presumably this person is making a prediction based on an old summary. There's no source after all. I'll keep an eye out for any more news related to this, though.

Oh, and here is Anna's concept art for Disney Infinity. Anna, Elsa and Olaf will be in the game. It's possible that Hans and Kristoff will also be added later on.

EDIT: Disney Infinity Elsa is on tumblr. It's an older concept art, judging by her hair and dress.

She might be in her final form in the movie. And I love what she's doing with her powers. Disney is getting creative!

Just to update you guys - I toured Disney studios this past Friday and it was a bit underwhelming. We entered very few buildings and our guide spoke mostly about live action films as opposed to animation. She used to work in the Disney Archive, and she told us we'd also be checking it out, but what she meant was we would walk in one room and she would explain to me what a maquette is.

I saw one lonely posted for Frozen outside, which was just the theatrical poster with the title on ice, and a parking spot next to one of the sound stages that said something along the lines of "Frozen staff only." We weren't able to tour the animation building, nor any sound stages. So.. that's about it. The tour guide was lovely and a wealth of knowledge otherwise. She agreed how it was strange we received a Frozen teaser in the US that had nothing to do with the film whereas other countries got an actual trailer. We talked extremely briefly about similar marketing with Tangled and then moved on.

Sorry the tour was underwhelming, that stinks you didn't get to visit the animation bldg. it's definitely the highlight of the entire lot - much busier and more exciting inside than the main lot, which is mostly long hallways and offices. It's cool you at least visited the archives, if only briefly.

Apparently, the score to Frozen is incredible! :o
Bruce Wright ‏@heybrucewright 2h

While we work on Frozen, we can watch the scoring of the film at our desktops. I CANNOT STAND how awesome it is.
Brittney Lee ‏@britsketch 4h

Frozen scoring session streaming to my desk today! Yay for being back at work!
thomwickes ‏@thomwickes 2h

watching the scoring of #Frozen. This is going to be epic.
Andrew Chesworth ‏@A_Chesworth 2h

Listening to the instrumental recording session for the #Frozen soundtrack. Mind blowing!
Paul Hildebrandt ‏@paulhildebrandt 2h

We have a live video stream of an orchestra scoring music for Frozen. Awesome benefit. Listening while I work.
I have a feeling that if this is eligible for the Oscars, it will win.

I thought the score was already done! Silly me :P
So now there's less time left before the Soundtrack comes out, I'm dying to listen to it.
Actually, I don't know if I did posted this in this forum (I'm sure I did in another one) but don't you think the music that sounds when Olaf is petting Sven in the Teaser Trailer sounds like an instrumental reprise or something?

This is just MY GUESS. While that music sounds I picture Anna running and singing (like Belle in "Belle" reprise) as you see the snowy mountains and the whole landscape. Maybe it's nothing, but if it's something, It sounds good. And if It's nothing, well I guess the film's music will sound a lot better anyway.

Sorry If I'm speculating way too much but I'm dying  Sorry Mr. Bruce Wright if you're reading this, I can't hold my "surreal" speculations! :P rotfl

PD: Yeah, I've seen those tweets. And I kind of hate them. Of course they'll say the soundtrack is good...I mean they're working on this movie. Besides, they're like saying "HA, I'm listening to the most amazing soundtrack I've ever listened to and you can't do it until thanksgiving, sorry". ¬¬

Hmmmmm, I didn't see the "Belle" value in 1:15.

BTW: Turns out that Christopher Beck may not be the composer after all. :o
Qindarka ‏
@thomwickes @heybrucewright Who is composing it anyway? I know a few sites have reported it being Cristophe Beck but nothing official.

Bruce Wright
@Qindarka @thomwickes I'm not going to spill the beans.

Why are they so secretive about the soundtrack/score?Is it really that good,or are they just bsing us?
If it's Danny Elfman, we will hear Danny Elfman being original again.(I love Elfman, but he is becoming generic like his director counterpart Tim Burton.)
If it's Yann Tiersenn, then OMG!It will be so addictive.
If it's Hans Zimmer, the music of this movie will overpower Olaf's camp.

Odd. I thought he had already been officially confirmed.

Also, Robert Lopez just made this Tweet:
Amazing day recording Frozen songs with huge orchestra, yay @Lyrikris10, thanks @stephenoremus for the great conducting!

I can hardly wait to hear Frozen's score. I love film scores. One of my dreams is to watch and listen to the recording session of a orchestra playing score for a scene of a work-in-progress film in person. I'd practically burst with happiness if I got to experience that.

To be honest, I'm getting kind of tired of Hans Zimmer being chosen to compose everything and because of that most film composers sound like they're emulating his style. Danny Elfman would be cool but since he didn't do the songs, I kind of doubt it... though he did do the film score for Chicago.
