The trailer apparently shows what looks Simba as a Summon. That means that, next to Mickey, Donald and Goofy, Ariel and Simba are the only two Disney characters (thus far) to consistently appear in all three regular KH games, not counting all the in-between games.

Oops, I forgot: several "Hercules" characters are in all three regular games as well.

I hope Mandy Moore does appear as Rapunzel; I wonder why she wouldn't considering she came back for the TV series. It would be a little funny though, only because she already appeared in KH one time before, just not as her Disney character.

I was just at MouseCon (a Disney fan convention in the Bay Area), and one of the guests there, Kat Cressida, who voiced Jessie in some "Toy Story" video games (and the Toy Story midway ride, apparently), is apparently going to voice her in the new KH game as well.

IMDB says Mandy does voice Rapunzel in this...hmmm...

So, I just played the trailer with my eyes closed, and it did sound like Mandy...the timestamp shows I made my last post at 2:45am...so disregard, I was exhausted...? I wonder if part of my groggy confusion was re-recorded lines; for example, the "I am never going back" part & "Best. Day. Ever." sound different in the trailer than in the movie...?

There is one line of dialog that got my attention:

"Now the battle between light and dark will reach its epic conclusion."

Does that mean that there will no longer be any more Kingdom Hearts games after this one? That kind of sends up an indication that this is the very last game ever (at least in terms of main games, anyway), not leaving the door open to anything further.

Its probably no more the last game than star wars episode 6 was the last starwars movie. They'll just come up with some other angle.

Yes, and Nomura's also said that Kingdom Hearts will always be Sora's story. Which is good, because I have no interest in a KH without Sora and Riku involved, especially with the PIXAR takeover happening with this franchise, too.

Hopefully Atlantica and Agrabah make it into KH4-onwards, because I'd like to see those films depicted with the new graphics and a Giant Ursula battle with flowmotion involved. I know we have the Ariel summon, but I'd like more than that, even if Atlantica would feel off without Kenneth Mars...

Who did Triton's voice in "Ariel's Beginnings"? I don't think it was Mars there.

I also would like to see levels themed to more pre-"Little Mermaid" movies (I still would like to see a level themed around "Dumbo", for example), though I also would like to see levels themed around "Zootopia", "Moana" and maybe even "The Princess and the Frog".

Jim Cummings. And he wasn't very good at Triton, imo. Sebastian's replacement voice actor in KH is already bad enough as it is.

It's a shame they never had a The Emperor's New Groove world before Eartha Kitt passed.

But considering that the ENTIRE storyline of the series up to this point has always been the Dark Seeker Saga, I'm not sure how it can carry on afterwards. Will Maleficent become the ultimate antagonist in any new games from here on out? Because as far as I know, she and Pete are pretty much the only ones left now.

New trailer. It's the opening video of KH3, featuring the Japanese version of Utada's other song "Face My Fears."

I like the song more than I expected. I thought it would be faster and more upbeat, the way the opening song always is. I don't like it as much as "Don't Think Twice," but I like it more than "Sanctuary."
