Disney's Aladdin DVD Press Release (Real One)
There are a lot more menus than that, definitely. Disney never releases all of their menus before a DVD's out; just a few of them. What I find curious is how the Backstage Disney portion of disc two is laid out. It seems that many of the non-documentary video clips will either be in "The Art of Aladdin", in a separate portion of the documentary's menu, or both. Also, it bugs me that Disney still insists on putting deleted scenes on disc 1 and (some) games on disc two when they should be reversed, but that's just picking nits.

Release Date
Hey everyone
I was wondering, does anyone know if the release date will be the same for all countries? I hope so!

One more question (sorry
)
I think that most of you would know about the "Good teenages, take off your clothes" thing in Aladdin (if you don't, go to http://www.snopes.com/disney/films/aladdin.htm to see it, and to hear it), do you think Disney will edit that part out of the DVD? I also think they might edit the priest in The Little Mermaid (when the new DVD comes out), that caused some controversy

Just posted a look at some bonus features:

Those games look very interesting. Disney's games are more entertaining when they're all big and elaborate, which has been the case with all the platinums and seems to continue on with Aladdin. It seems the Genie's living space isn't so itty bitty afterall. Heck, I'd even like to live there.
The CGI Jafar creeps me out, though. Thanks for posting the pics!

Thanks a lot for posting, Luke!
Even though I'm not too keen on the games (hence I'm not the target public) I must admit I find the ones on the Platinum editions to be quite entertaining (at least the "virtual" ones). They really show that some effort is put on these DVDs. As Disneykid noted, it's nice that "Aladdin" is continuing this trend (but I still think there are too many games on this DVD).

Thanks Luke for the preview! These games are always a lil' fun to play, especially being on Platinums, but I must agree with Joe Carioca that these DVDs are becoming way too packed with them. I think one or two virtual games would be fine for any movie. Although it's rather ironic how Dreamworks SpielbergKatzenbergGeffen is gonna have it's own games section on the Shrek 2 DVD, even as it's separated and twisted from the Disney method into it's own way of doing things. But I guess ya just have to learn to love games when animatied films are even today viewed as "kiddie fare"
