I picked up my 4-disc set at Walmart today. Just curious, do all copies of the 4-disc set (at other stores) have the lenticular cover or is this a Walmart exclusive?

I got mine at Best Buy and it had the cool cover, too. I was also able to get them to price match the website's $27.99 price + let me have the $10 off coupon and with tax it was just under $20.

After being on dvd talk's website and someone saying that their Target had ONE of the 3D packs, I figured it was safer going to Best Buy, since I was going there anyway to buy a Kindle.
Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.

How did you get Best Buy to match the website price?

I went to go buy it today at Walmart because their on-line price is $27.99 but in the store they wanted $34.99. So needless to say I did not buy it today.

I ended up getting the 4-Disc Combo pack of "A Christmas Carol" for $8.49 + tax at my local Sears Grand. I like shopping here as they will not only match prices, but give you an extra 10% off the difference. The problem is they hardly ever get Blu-rays the day of release. I was surprised that they had this and the new "Avatar" in stock on Tuesday.

The local F.Y.E. store had the 4-Disc 3D Blu-ray listed as $19.99 in there weekly ad, a mistake I'm gussing? But Sears Grand matched the $19.99 price down from $34.99 which they gave me an additional $1.50 off for the $15 + 10% off difference.

At first they said they couldn't take off the Disney $10 coupon too, but after pressing the issue, they scanned it and the computer took it off.

So my total came to $8.49 + tax...........not a bad deal!

Every Best Buy I've gone to has taken the coupons in the past. A lot of my friends use them there as well without a problem. Not sure if it's just the Best Buys in certain districts that are being effected. The coupons are the same as cash to the Best Buy stores, there is no reason they shouldn't take them as Disney reimburses them for the coupons anyway.

I got the 4-Disc Combo Pack at Target and I just opened it now and it has finger prints all over the discs! :(
I feel like taking it back and getting another one but what if the new one I get has the same thing if not worse? :?

I also just checked my BATB Blu-ray and it is the same thing! However, the disc does work because I watched it all, so I am thinking just keep my blu-ray of BATB that I have.

IDK what to do!

That's strange, I can't imagine any reason why someone would be physically handling the discs when these titles are being manufactured in huge factories processing thousands of copies. I saw a video once of a CD assembly plant, and as far as I know, the discs are placed in the cases by a machine with an arm that has little "suction cups" on it to hold the disc. I've even seen the "suction cup" marks on the surface of some discs, little round circle marks are sometimes left behind.

I really can't see people putting the dics in the cases by hand when they're probably outputting thousands of copies an hour. If they were, you'd think they would either have enough sense not to touch the back of the disc or wear gloves...

for fingerprints, get a microfiber cloth and gently wipe in a circular motion. I recommend the Memorex cloth that is for wiping cds/dvds.

I did a search and they said the same thing. They also said a little will help too.

Now circular all around the Blu-ray disc or small circles going around the disc? This gets me confused lol.

I checked all my Blu-ray discs and it seems like it's only at Target that's been having the finger prints. I don't get it, I thought the manufacturers us machines. :?

Whoever made the microfiber cloth is the BEST! I could kiss them! lol jk
Used it and my Blu-ray discs and they are just as new! :D

However, I didn't like using them on the DVD and digital file! The coating on the Blu-ray is so much better and stronger than the other two. :)

I must be one of the few but i didn't really care for this film. I had seen it when it was in theatres last year and quite frankly found it ridiculous. The Christmas Carol has been retooled so many times its just getting insane arn't there other Christmas Stories the studios can tackle.
