I agree with PeterPanfan. I thought they would do this, but it's good to have some confirmation. Now I can watch it and decide whether or not I'll pick it up.

Enough of a reason to get upset right there.

And thank you, Fflewduur, for proving my point that there are better reasons to get upset over this movie than Tinker Bell speaking.

I think this is getting a theatrical release in Latin America, the section for films that are or are soon to be in a theater in DisneyLatino.com has High School Musical 3, Beverly Hills Chihuahua, and Tinkerbell listed.

Am I the ONLY one that sees no problem with the Fairies franchise being aimed at tween girls?

OK, I understand what you guys are saying, especially since when Disney finds a hot market they leach onto it like a tick unleashes onto a dog, hence why Hannah Montana and HSM are everywhere.

But I think there's need to be angsty over it either. I think that the "Disney Fairies" franchise is a better realized one than, say the Princess line because we have a realize world with continued character development and rock solid products.

From what I heard, this also appeals a lot to the core Disney fanbase as its a solid foundation built upon the iconic status of Tinkerbell. They did this with Jimminy with all the "I'm no fool" shorts along with hosting duties in the Disney canon. Its capitalizing on the character, and Tink is no different.

In the end, I see no harm done at all. Its just a merchandise line.

I think that the Fairies,like all the other Disney stuff are for everyone,everyone can like whatever they like.
And no,I don't mind what Disney thinks,they now seems to think that everything in Disney is for little girls.
I think that TinkerBell is a real sequel to TinkerBell and it's MUCH better then Return To Neverland.

Ariel'sprince we know what you're trying to tell us; but you're halfway wrong. The films are in fact for everyone and more importantly, everyone who desires to enjoy them. But you keep ignoring what everyone is trying to tell you: The product placement is and always will be aimed at whatever demographic the movie was able to grasp the most; yes, the princess films, Tinkerbell and a lot more in Disney has a main audience mostly made up of little girls. So as everyone has been kind enough to explain to you these toys are aimed at the little girls that more than likely liked the movie. A lot of people in UD argue that it also reaches the homosexual audience; but I have yet to see a gay dude in the princess isle. We all agree the movies are family oriented and are meant for everyone, it's just that there is a precise demographic that obsesses over the movie more than anyone else.

It's for everyone,and it doesn't matter if it's "aimed" for any group,because acorrding everything in Disney is for little girls only (Disney already said that they think that HSM,Hannah Montana and Camp Rock are for little girls,the Pixar girls like Dory,Eve,Sally and more are also marketed for little girls,Lucy and Susan are marketed for little girls,Elizabeth Sawnn is marketed for little girls) so Disney is for everyone,every gender,age and more.

You could try threatening the wall with my Disney Princess Bazooka Kit, it comes with an instructional dvd complete with shiny/embossed/opens like a book slipcover!

Watched it yesterday. It was a lovely film! The animation was surprisingly good. Very colorful, mystical and detailed. For a DTV project its stunning. The music was also wonderful and loved every minute of it. Too bad the actual soundtrack won't have any of the score

Now the story I felt was good, but definitely light in parts. I felt that the resolution came awfully quick with no real tension or drama like in past Disney films or even DTVs. I was caught off guard at how quickly it ended. But I did enjoy the characterization of Tinker Bell, and frankly, I can see some of her bitchiness being portrayed in this film.

Her determination towards visiting the Mainland was similar to how she wanted to get rid of Wendy in the first movie. She even turned red when she was arguing with Vidia! They still have ways to go before we see how Tink became so angry in the first movie.

But overall I thought it was a wonderful movie. Better than I was expecting, though very light and breezy in plot and details. Can't wait to see the next three chapters in the Tink saga.

Actually the soundtrack does have score. Track number 10 is listed as "End Credit Score Suite", however this is a poor title as the track is 7 minutes long, longer then the end credits. What you get is a sample of each bit of score from the film strung together. On top of that, you get the three songs featured in the film ("To The Fairies They Draw Near" (parts 1 and 2) and "Fly to Your Heart") and 6 songs inspired by the film, most of which are quite good. I wish they would have gone with Katharine McPhee's "Let Your Heart Sing" as the end credit song. I like it a lot better than Selena Gomez's. It was nice to have Jonatha Brooke do a song for the soundtrack. She did the songs from Return to Neverland.

I BOUGHT IT YESTERDAY AND LOVE IT!
I just finished watching this beautiful film a second time through and was ecstatic to read after the credits that 'Tinkerbell will be back in Tinkerbell and the lost treasure.' I knew there was a rumour of a sequel and that this will become a trilogy but now I believe it.

In away the whole film suggested a sequel already in the making, especially in the character of Tink's potential love interest. For the bulk of the film he does nothing but then when Tink needs him most he appears. It is clear that in following instalments this relationship will grow into a romantic one and I love that because it makes this a very unique Disney film. The main couple dont end up together right away but grow as a couple throughout the films. I also was thinking that he will play a huge role in one of the films should he be kidnapped by some dark force hoping to take all the pixie dust from Pixie Hallow, hence leaving the pixie's powerless.

The only complaint I have is NOT ENOUGH CLASSIC DISNEY MUSIC! I was sitting there waiting for Tink to open her mouth and sing of her dream to be more then a Tinker or how she will impress the queen or how she failed and must find away to make things right. But sadly no additional songs besides the beautiful opening piece and the two okish final songs appeared. I hope they include more songs in the future films. I will say the score was beautiful however and I love the new fairies that inhabit Tink's life. Also having Wendy appear at the end was a nice touch.
