Funny how Anna's voice actress looks more like Elsa than Elsa's does.taei wrote:The sisters have arrived:

Re: Frozen: Part V
I've been reading these ballots before the ceremony starts. Based on the laws of overlap, it really does seem like Frozen is a no-brainer for Best Animated Feature, and "Let It Go" seems likely for Best Song.
But if you wanna get pissed off, check out the first one on this series.

➻ BEST ANIMATED FEATURE
I have seen none of them. I have no interest whatsoever. That ended when I was 6. My son dragged me to a few when he was 6; I would seat him and go outside and make phone calls.
Is it just me, or is this guy a dick?➻ BEST ORIGINAL SONG
I didn't vote because I regard all four songs as utterly inferior and not worth voting for. To dignify any of them with a vote is to suggest that they're worthy of a nomination, and they're not; they're just bad songs. And, as for disqualifying the fifth nominee? The rules are so petty and stupid, these people should get a life -- it's embarrassing. They're like sub-basement, quasi-Talmudic scholars.

I almost predicted this. Nice. Didn't see The Wind Rises so, my lack of enthusiasm is out of fairness. Plus I'm just oddly not that enthusiastic for some reason.

Re: Frozen: Part V
Anyone else think that the song was cut too short and idina stretched a bit with her voice?

Re: Frozen: Part V
Ok... So what the hell was that?
They cut the song short, and she didn't sound nearly as good as she did in the movie. And what's with stretching her voice in the end?
The stage was nice though.

Re: Frozen: Part V
Alright, I'll say it. Idina was completely flat in the end.
She was straining big time with her voice. Struggling with what normally comes effortlessly. A very poor performance in my opinion.

It wasn't Idina's best performance, but hey, it won!

It was the last song performance, but it sjould've been in full.
Also love that it won!
