I got 4 new DVDs today, which I'll be reviewing for the site over the next several days/weeks. I thought that the UPS guy was going to leave me hanging, but he came through at the last minute. Whoo whoo!

I got Big Train series one and two. I was really looking forward to this, but Series One is a bit of a disappointment. However, Series two is fantastic.
I must also say, the menus on this disc are fantastic. Absolutely wonderful. The best being the episode selection menu on Series 2. I've never laughed at a menu so much in my life. It's just such a brilliant concept perfectly executed (even if it is just repeating a sketch from the show in an unusual manner)
I must say, we've been spoilt for menus recently, with some wonderful sequences (all from UK TV programmes, so I suppose this won't mean much to anyone).
The Adam and Joe Show (including a commentary about the creation of the commentary selection menu on the commentary selection menu!)
The Alan Partridge Menus
The Day Today (even more OTT than the series graphics)
Bo Selecta (especially the menu on the first disc of S2. It runs for about 12 minutes)
I love Menus!

Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

LOL. I'm always buying movies. My most recent are as follows:
The Day After Tomorrow
The Count of Monte Cristo
EverAfter
The Count of Monte Cristo is such a brilliant film. It's currently one of my newest obsessions. I highly recommend it.

I got Mulan this morning, but won't be watching it yet. My advice: go to Walmart. They matched a competitor's ad which was a $1 cheaper than their price (at least here that's what they did, its different everywhere else I'm sure)
This is one of my favorite movies. Can't wait to see the preview for Mulan 2.

)
That's Entertainment deluxe four disc collectors set. (Altho it is still missing That's Dancing from the series, it cost hundreds less than the CAV Laserdiscs I have of all those titles (which I'm keeping for the CAV frame manipulation and the goodies like 12" booklets and Lobby Cards/Photos
) hundreds and hundreds of musical highlights and outakes and scenes from uncounted musicals and movies in glorious 16:9 enhanced digital color and multichanel sound!
Mine all mine muahahaha)
oh and a little know movie named mulan
now i can compare for myself the mastered aspect ratio with the 1.85/1.66 i cooked on the mulan press thread
*deathie will probabbly be several days gone exercising his retina and cochlea
ntsc discs! I'm unclean!!!!!

ps. Evil Genie Jafar i saw two boxes from afar
they both said dawn of the dead
one was black thick and lettered red
