- Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
But that's so, so unfair! I want this includes the new transfer... The "60th Anniversary Edition" label gives me some hope...

I think the coupon is live now, I entered my Alice VHS UPS and was taken to the page to print the coupon before it told me "Sorry, but you have already printed the coupon the allowed number of times." What?

Now I am really worried I won't be able to get the coupon! Has anyone else been able to print theirs?

Yeah, it didn't work for me, either...

Perhaps we'll have to wait a day or two to actually print it?

well to speak about something different then coupons and money(I mean we don't even have those outside the US), i watched the special edition, the old one, yesterday, just to pay attention to colours etc...

i have to say that the mad hatter as well as the carpenter, look sort of orange there as well, not the bright kind from the screens from this upcoming edition, but there still orange..

so i dont think this will be an issue, but what i absolutly don't like, is that they changed background colours and alice's hair-colour in this upcoming edition. I mean its like giving belle black hair :P... The hair just pops out in the new edition and distracts from everything else...really weird if you ask me

and another thing is that the sky looks pink again(in the beginning), I mean, what is it with disney making every sky pink in movies there restoring, its like a colour blind person is restoring them :P

Same thing happened to me. Hopefully it still lets me print the coupon... whenever it goes up.

I'm not sure how that is going to work, because once you enter the UPC at DMR, it says that you have already redeemed the offer. How are we to get back to the point to attempt to print the coupon?

This has disaster written all over it. The only thing I am hoping for is that DMR is aware of this issue and offers an alternative. Does anyone know if there is someone answering the phones at their number on weekends?

There might be. The only thing I can say is try. It can't hurt. :)

I've having this issue too and would like them to get on the ball and fix it!

I don't think anyone has gotten a coupon to print. I've looked on some forums and people have created new accounts and still get the error. I sent them a email about the problem and posted the problem on their Facebook page. Hopefully they can fix this before Tuesday.

In that case, I wouldn't be above creating a second account just to get the coupon.

Someone suggested and tried that on the Blu-ray.com boards and received the same message.

It looks like numerous people are having this issue, and I hope DMR addresses it directly and issues a fix because none of us can even attempt to redeem the offer for a 2nd time.

I suggest anyone having an issue contact DMR by phone/email so that they know this is a problem numerous people are having.

I am hoping that they do something like set up a new unique code to enter for those that have not been able to redeem with the UPC (telling them they already printed it).

Me too, what they need to do is clear it out of everyone's redeemed codes list so we can try again once they straighten it out.

Thank goodness, DMR is aware of the problem. This was posted on their Facebook page:

"Please know we are looking into the problem with the Alice coupon. We'll let you all know as soon as we have a fix in place!"

Hopefully we'll get a fix soon! :)

Some of you are going bananas over the coupon. Why not wait until Tuesday to print it and go out and buy it? I'm sure it will be fixed by then. The coupon is usually available for a short while even after the movie gets released and even the release day sale prices stay the same for about a week. I usually wait and see where people got the best deal and then I go get the movie.

Well, I feel completely screwed. The code worked, yet I get some BS message that I printed more than one of the coupons. :(

O really, I mean people are going completely nuts over a few dollars, i mean is it really so expensive...in Holland we dont even have all these coupons and stuff so we mostly pay full price...and its worth it :P

all the posts about the dvd and movie itself are getting snowed under and are ignored, maybe somebody could open an new tread for people to discuss coupons, for now and future releases

Well the coupon makes the release half off at Best Buy this week. Thats more than a few dollars. Anyway DMR is working on the issue, and said a fix is on the way. I think it will be Monday before its working. I just hope its up before Tuesday so I can already have this printed out and ready to go.

I can see the point some are making... A coupon thread might be a good ideal. Since Disney releases so many coupons (glad they do), it would be easy to put them all together in one thread.

I don't think discussing the coupon is a big deal. The release isn't out until Tuesday, and right now very few people have gotten a copy, so what else is there to discuss about the film or restoration at this time? We've already seen the screen shots and read the reviews; there isn't much more to say until we see the real thing on our own televisions...

These threads always seem to work this way; there is a flurry of activity the week before release (usually about the coupon), then a bunch of posts after release day with everyone posting their reactions/feelings/etc. After that, the thread usually sinks into inactivity and we move on to the next scheduled release. Remember when the Beauty and the Beast thread dominated the top threads? Now it's free-falling into oblivion.
