I got a handfull of discs today but sadly none were gifts. Oh well anyway my copy of Recording "The Producers" - A Musical Romp with Mel Brooks finally came in and other than that I got

I was about to get the widescreen version of Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Warerabbit, but I'm broke. Gotta wait until 2 weeks to get paid, which means Lady and the Tramp will also be released. I will buy WAC:COTWR and Lady and the Tramp soon, very soon.

gamespot had this buy two dvds get one free today. So today, I went in and bought Snow White for 16.99, Peter Pan 12.99 and treasure planet for 9.99. I didn't have to pay for the treasure island, and so I bought Snow White, Peter Pan SE, and treasure Planet for a whoping 29.98!

My gamestop has officially started to suck. I will never never sell my DVDs there again (especially when they buy one of my DVDs for a frickin' 80 cents, then go and sell it for $9.99).

No new DVDs from me, though I did have an opportunity to buy Tron (2-disc) for $10 and Creature Comforts S1 for $8, but passed on both for money reasons. They're safely hidden in the video store, so next time I go, maybe I can get them...

I relented this week and actually bought two DVDs (well, it was last week that I relented and they arrived from Amazon UK yesterday):

The Mighty Boosh: Series 1 & 2 Boxset (UK)
A Fistful of Dynamite: 2-Disc (R2 Edition)

First two DVDs of the year, I believe. However, most of my DVD viewing has been from my local public library this year.

I don't think Best Buy price matched it. In Best Buy, it still cost $60 just for 124 cartoons in 5 disc. While in Wal-Mart, I found it for a cheap price. The Pink Panther 5-film set was at the same price as the cartoon set.

That's sad. That's about $10 higher than I bought the set. Oh well, patience is virtue.
