I do too, but I sometimes watch it anyway. The worst thing about it, obviously, are all the damn pop-up comments that are so INCREDIBLY retarded and embarassingly stupid, that you pretty much know that nobody likes those. In fact, it's a huge surprise to me that this show is in any way a hit. Kind of like Total Request Live.Zoltack wrote:I watched Blind Date. I don't know why because I really, really, hate that show.
I've been watching a lot of Dawson's Creek lately. Why? Because it's still a whole lot better than Fluffy the Umpire Sprayer. The last episode I saw was the last one that aired on TBS today, Joey does a mural for the school and some unknown punk destroys it, so when Pacey finds out who did it and gets him/her back, she doesn't care at all, and Dawson seems to have guessed that the reason why would be that she was secretly happy because she never wanted to hear anyone say anything about it.
And of course, Judging Amy. Because it's THE best 1-hour drama on TV right now.

The Simpsons is actually going to have a somewhat similar episode this year. I'm sure herpies won't be brought up but Maggie gets chicken pox and Homer has a pox party or so I've heard.Zoltack wrote:I'm watching South Park where Kenny gets the chicken pox and the boys parents want them to spend the night so they all get chicken pox. But the boy's thinks it herpies.
I hope it's not too familiar and I hope Maggie gets some good screentime.

I've been re-watching the first season of Arrested Development again... I already consider it a classic. I just watched the episode where Tobias thinks that his daughter is into leather, so he gets all suited up and ends up at the wrong place for the "magic." I have those episodes memorized, and they're still funny every time.

It's an amazing show. But I'm not sad that it has been cancelled or is over. It's good that they did it now before the storylines had more of a chance to be stretched any thinner. And I think the characters have grown enough, I'm actually starting to get sick of Amy, she's boring me now. It's just such a great show because there are so many great characters to choose from, so there's always a good one left for whichever one they might have eliminated or forgotten about. I really like Maxine, so I hope I don't get sick of her. It's just that Tine Daly is a better actor with extreme sadness than Amy Brenneman. Anyway, all I want is the show on DVD. NOW! If that means putting a dent in peoples' syndication checks, so be it. The Desperate Housewives team never even gave it a second thought. Arg!! Amy is on my tvshowsondvd List, so of course as soon as there's news about a DVD release, I'll know about it.orestes. wrote:I've seen that show once or twice and it was pretty good. Too bad it's cancelled now. CBS is so high in the ratings now some of their popular but not super popular shows get the axe.

Dawson's Creek and Judging Amy again. On Dawson, I think it was about Pacey and Joey kissed and how would Dawson feel about that, so they try and cover it up and end up kissing again. Meanwhile, Jack and Ethan are spending time together and Jack's Dad seems to be patroling them because he doesn't agree with Jack's being gay, but we learn that it's just because he wants to spend time with Jack and learn to accept it (completely unrealistic, but I wasn't complaining, Jack's Dad is hott). Then Dawson's mother and father are arguing in their restaurant until they both read a dead friend's toast at their wedding and I think they decide to try getting back together (who knows?), and Jen is having strange relationship problems with her extremely UGLY boyfriend, one of them being a busty blonde waitress who doesn't like the sound of "no" but ends up completely respecting their relationship after the fact.
Oh, and Surreal Life 5. The end of the episode where Janice is voted off from Las Vegas, then the episode where they go to the house and Janice and Omarosa and fighting constantly. Now... I really hate Omarosa. I was so with-her before when the show started. But she is supreme snob and an elitist of the worst kind- she thinks she doesn't have to listen to anything anyone else has to say. And she's gone way beyond rudeness, she's actually asking for a beatdown by insulting Janice's parenting. That's just a place you're not allowed to go in a disagreement.
