Lohan To Testify at Parents' Divorce Trial

Freaky Friday star Lindsay Lohan is expected to be called to testify at the divorce trial of her parents. The trial in State Supreme Court in Nassau County, New York, began on Wednesday with Michael Lohan and Dina Lohan arriving with their attorneys. Michael is suing for a cut of the millions of dollars earned by his 19-year-old actress daughter. However, his estranged wife, Dina Lohan, wants full custody of her children, alimony and $1 million in damages. Michael was seen wearing handcuffs in court because he is serving time behind bars for attempted assault and other charges.

Lindsay Lohan has hired a personal trainer - to put on weight.

Speculation has been mounting in recent months that the sexy actress could be suffering from an eating disorder after she was repeatedly photographed looking stick-thin.

But although Lohan, 19, has always refuted the claims, she has employed a specialist trainer to help her bulk up.

Exercise coach Justin Gelband has put the 'Herbie: Fully Loaded' star on a special diet to restore her sexy curves and the star has purportedly gone up two dress sizes.

She said: "I'm working out with a trainer and eating healthily. I want my boobs back."

Justin also claims the teen star, famed for her love of partying, is planning to ditch her unhealthy habits for good.

He told Britain's More magazine: "Lindsay is very athletic. Exercise and physical activity come very naturally to her.

"In the future she plans to commit herself to a healthier lifestyle."

LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Lindsay Lohan and two other people were taken to a hospital Tuesday after the actress' black Mercedes-Benz convertible collided with a van in West Hollywood, authorities said.

Witnesses said Lohan was trying to avoid paparazzi photographers when the crash occurred.

Lohan and a female passenger in her car suffered minor injuries, said Los Angeles County sheriff's Sgt. Diane Hecht.

The driver of the van, which was knocked into a parked vehicle, suffered moderate injuries, Hecht said. The identities of Lohan's passenger and the male driver of the van were not immediately released.

The accident was witnessed by a number of people, including a reporter for the syndicated television show "The Insider."

"Insider" reporter Victoria Recano told The Associated Press she saw Lohan and a passenger run into an antique store immediately after the collision.

Javier Ramirez, who works at the store, said he recognized Lohan.

"She was very upset," Ramirez told the AP. "She kept saying, 'Oh my God, oh my God, I can't believe it."'

Ramirez said Lohan and her passenger left after a few minutes and although both were shaken up, neither appeared badly hurt.

Television news footage showed a badly damaged black Mercedes outside the store with both its driver- and passenger-side air bags inflated.

The sheriff's department said the driver of the van appeared to be turning in front of Lohan's car when the vehicles collided. There was no evidence alcohol was involved in the crash, Hecht said in a news release.

Witnesses said dozens of paparazzi photographers had been following Lohan through the area before the crash. At one point, according to Lori Satzberg, 43, several photographers tried to take pictures of Lohan as she shopped at a clothing store. The photographers then followed her outside to her car.

"She got into her black Mercedes across the street and they literally were like sitting on her car, trying to take pictures of her, she was like yelling at them to get off," Satzberg said.

The crash was the second one Lohan, 19, has been involved in recent months.

Police said the star of such films as "Mean Girls" and "Herbie: Fully Loaded" was attempting to evade a paparazzi photographer in June when the photographer crashed his car into her Mercedes. She suffered cuts and bruises in that crash but did not seek medical attention.

The photographer was arrested for investigation of assault with a deadly weapon. Police said it appeared he deliberately crashed into the actress' vehicle.

A new state law signed Friday allows victims of paparazzi assaults to file lawsuits seeking up to three times the damages they suffered. The law goes into effect Jan. 1.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Teen actress Lindsay Lohan, who was hospitalised in Miami this week suffering from asthma, said dabbling in drugs and battling bulimia pushed her close to emotional and physical collapse."I knew I had a problem and I couldn't admit it," Lohan, the star of movies such as "Mean Girls" and "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen," told Vanity Fair magazine.

"I was making myself sick. I was sick and I had people sit me down and say 'You're going to die if you don't take care of yourself,'" she said in the magazine's latest issue, which hit news-stands on Wednesday.

Lohan said she used drugs "a little" but quickly tried to retract the admission and denied that she had taken cocaine. "I don't want people to think that I've done ... you know what I mean? It's kind of a sore subject," she said.

Lohan's publicist called Vanity Fair the day after the interview to try to get the confession omitted from the article, the New York Post reported.

In an apparent U-turn from interviews last year, the actress admitted fighting the eating disorder bulimia, which made her lose weight at an alarming rate.

It was when she saw footage of herself on a "Saturday Night Live" television appearance looking skeletal that Lohan became aware of how ill she really was.

"I saw that 'SNL' after I did it. My arms were disgusting. I had no arms," she said.

Her physical condition led to a two-week hospitalisation with a swollen liver and kidney infection last year.

Lohan was admitted to hospital on Monday after experiencing breathing difficulties in her hotel room in Miami, spokeswoman Leslie Sloane told Reuters.

Sloane said the actress, who has suffered from asthma since childhood, was "resting comfortably" while she remained under observation and expects to be discharged on Wednesday

He's a decent Wolverine but he definitely would not have been my first choice. The only castings I truly agreed with and felt were the best choices in the X-Men movies were Patrick Stewart as Professor X and James Marsden as Scott/Cyclops.
