I actually like the new Lola. Even if she's a total space case, at least she has an actual (and Looney Tunes-y) personality and character besides "Untouchable girlpower character created by the marketing boys"
It's not that I wouldn't have liked this personality of Lola better than the original, but the fact is, Lola, to Lola fans anyway, has already been well established by her appearances in other media (such as comics) following Space Jam, so this is like a completely new character using Lola's identity, which is frustrating for her fans.

From Doug Walker's Facebook page back in October

"How did they turn Lola Bunny, the most bland and unfunny of Looney Tunes, into one of the most hilariously awkward psychopaths in recent memory? Maybe it's Kristen Wiig's voice, maybe it's just great writing, but she kills me. The image of her smiling in the rain is one of the funniest visuals I've seen in awhile. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTkPgpEgFak "

Well, I often disagree with critics. So, it was just on his Facebook page? I got the impression he might have done a video review of it or something.

Original Lola definitely had a lot of room for character development, but this is such an extreme change, it's like if they released a Minnie Mouse cartoon where she's a psycho stalker. Yeah, it can be funny (I don't think that vid was the best example), but they might as well have just invented a new character if they were going to make her the adult Elmyra. I like it better when Bugs is drooling over HER. She was the one character who could make him lose his cool since he become so overly egotistical. In the comic books, her personality was basically just like Bugs', only with a female slant. Not the most original idea, but it was a believable continuity with the little bit of her we experienced in Space Jam.

Anyways, sorry, didn't mean to hijack this thread. I'm all about the Muppets too. I wonder if they'll redo Muppet Vision 4D.

Not that I would want them to. I like the original and I don't go to the Disney parks often enough (yet) to get tired of revisiting ANYTHING.

I believe it was only a post on his FB page, but I'm not positive of that. I do enjoy Lola as a super hot bunny who is so crazy that it makes her not worth the trouble to poor Bugs.

As for Muppet*Vision 3D, I think it'd be cool to update it a bit and have it hosted by Walter.

Hosted by Walter is NOT a bad idea.

I've heard some people complain that Walter didn't seem worthy of being a new Muppet. But, I think if you compare him with some of the lesser Muppets and their minor, one note acts they would do on the original show, some appearing in the new movie too, he fits in quite well.

Most critics I've read have praised the character of Walter, the very manly Muppet...I thought he was a nice addition to the Muppets world. He'll definitely hold up over time in my eyes.

I dragged my dad to see this yesterday and I really liked it. I grew up with Kermit on Sesame Street and have Muppets Take Manhattan on DVD. And the cameos....heh, loved that one cameo of the person who said the agent said to go there. ;)

I definitely want the soundtrack....do you get DMR points for it?
Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.

You're supposed to, but I haven't been able to get mine yet, and e-mailing is useless. The first time I tried, they just directed me to the way you're supposed to get points from CDs, but that doesn't work with my computer! Second time I e-mailed them, they just told me to call, which I still need to do.

It's frustrating that I have to go through this whenever I am trying to get my points for a CD. Why don't they just include a code, like with the movies?!

Perhaps it depends on what Browser you're using. I used Mozilla one time to try that and it wasn't working right, nor on google chrome (i've deleted google chrome about 8 months ago) On the regular Internet Explorer it worked for me. First go to the Music part and click on a title (it's a flash adobe sorta thing that pops up on the left side of the instructions, then insert the disc and then it should verify it, Just don't put the CD when you boot up the computer.

1st Select your CD in the "Get Rewarded" box on the right.

2nd Insert your CD into your computer.

3rd When we've checked your CD, we'll automatically add the points for this title to your account.

In my case, it tells me that I need to update something (I forget what, Java maybe), but when I do, that doesn't help and it also screws up my computer and I have to go through the long process of undoing the update. My mom's computer runs Vista, which has caused A LOT of problems with updates and stuff like that.

I've had the same experience as disneyboy20022. It never works with Mozilla and always works with IE 6 (shocking since little else works with IE 6)

Okay, I went to see the movie, my dad and my fiance was with and with an M&Ms movie coupon, we got in for $3 total. I saw the movie, sorta, I saw the Toy Story short and liked it. Now, I haven't been getting good sleep the this week, due to going on vacation with my fiance on Saturday to stay with my future in-laws until sometime in January. I saw about 20 minutes of the Muppet Movie, and I fell asleep, not because the movie was boring, more due to lack of sleep. I'm going to go see it Thursday and I bought a couple cans of Mountain Dew to help. I don't want to fall asleep watching this movie a 2nd time.....

GREAT, wonderful movie but it was terrible that the Swedish Chef KILLED the talking food just because it was rotten, and seemed to enjoy it. It's like they welcomed back the old friends of the talking food and then just murdered them. Bothered me a lot.

Don't know if they could have done a rotten talking food funeral service instead or something. Or the food never dies, like none of the other characters do. Or something else.

I would hardly count this as a spoiler... it's like a 3 second gag in the film.

I haven't seen the movie yet, so I didn't know that.
