Agreed!

Those comparison pictures are amazing :3
All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them. - Walt Disney
Not sure if anyone has posted this yet, but I found this concept art of Rapunzel's wedding dress by Lorelay Bove. I wonder if this is the design for the short.
That dress is from a direct-to-video sequel so it shouldn't count. But it's one of the more okay things to do. It might be neat if they even used actual photographs of the real Pocahontas to draw her an accurate poofy dress.
But that did use an image of her in that dress for one of their official princess guidebooks or encyclopedias or whatever.
Never said whether or not it should count, it's more that it feels like it's an "anything goes" policy with the princess merchandise (in that they make it as girly/sparkly as possible) so it's just kinda surprising to me that they haven't allowed Pocahontas her big, poofy, sequel dress for the merchandise. Not that she gets much merchandise in the first place. Maybe they're afraid all the little girls won't recognize her with her hair up.
And Mulan . . . am I wrong in thinking that they don't always suit her up in canon outfits for the merchandise? I really haven't been paying close attention to be honest.
It's not necessarily about being canon. If no canon outfit is available, they can make one. It just feels wrong to use things from the awfully made cheapquels. But within the princess line they make new outfits all the time, and that's fine because it's made specifically for the princess line. Hope that makes sense. And as I suggested, using photos of Pocahontas' real poofy dresses to draw her one would in a way be "canon" lol. If they already did for the sequel, than bravo to them and maybe it could be used.
‘Tangled Ever After’ to Play Before ‘Beauty and the Beast 3D’
By popular demand, Greno and Howard are bringing back some of Disney’s most beloved characters when Tangled Ever After picks up where Tangled left off. The Kingdom is in a festive mood as everyone gathers for the royal wedding of Rapunzel and Flynn. However, when Pascal and Maximus, as flower chameleon and ring bearer, respectively, lose the gold bands, a frenzied search and recovery mission gets underway. As the desperate duo tries to find the rings before anyone discovers that they’re missing, they leave behind a trail of comical chaos that includes flying lanterns, a flock of doves, a wine barrel barricade and a very sticky finale. Will Maximus and Pascal save the day and make it to the church in time? And will they ever get Flynn’s nose right?
Do you think this short will be included on any future Blu-ray release(s)? If so, which? I hope it's a DAC title because that's probably the only way I'll get it; I don't have much interest in the other Disney releases besides the Pixar and Studio Ghibli films.
I hope the short isn't mainly about side kicks ...? I mean I like Pascal and Maximus a lot but I prefer the main characters. That description makes it seem like the short will focus only on them.
