This film will be the only film from WDAS/Pixar, as Pixar will take the year off. Market it well Disney. I hope they will market it early like WiR & avoid covering up leaks ala Frozen.Sotiris wrote:

Re: Big Hero 6
I love the Japanese-influenced title art.
Hope it actually shows up in the film (unlike the official Wreck-It Ralph logo which was left unused).

Re: Big Hero 6
We should be getting cast news any day now right? If it's supposed to come out in a year...
If they end up postponing this too I'll be REALLY pissed off and will probably stage a Disney boycott. Those lazy bastards!

Really!?! Both WDAS and Pixar are making this?! Where's your source? :/
Not being sarcastic, I'm intrigued here.

Re: Big Hero 6
That logo is really nice, the japanese influence is certainly there alright!

I don't know, and honestly, I could not possibly care less.thedisneyspirit wrote:Okay what's with the latest DisneyJedism on this board?
Disney, Pixar, Rodgers and Hammerstein, and Cinema fan
Re: Big Hero 6
DisneyEra didn't mean that - they were saying that between the two studios, this is the only animated film Disney is releasing next year (well, besides Planes 2), since Pixar pushed back The Good Dinosaur.Mickeyfan1990 wrote:Really!?! Re: Big Hero 6
That's what I meant. Even though WDAS & Pixar are separate studios, they are both from The Walt Disney Company. And BH6 is the only release between the 2 studios in 2014. Though WDAS & Pixar will reverse roles in 2015.SWillie! wrote:DisneyEra didn't mean that - they were saying that between the two studios, this is the only animated film Disney is releasing next year (well, besides Planes 2), since Pixar pushed back The Good Dinosaur.Mickeyfan1990 wrote: Really!?! Re: Big Hero 6
First complain, guys. BTW: She/he was saying this to me

I’m surprised you didn’t say “YOU PEOPLE”.
I suppose you’d like us po’ little POC to apologize to you for complaining about the one movie that y’all like claiming to be great representation for not even taking place in Tokyo, where the original comic books are placed in?
It’s like you fucking heffas have a buffet and toss us a bone, but the bone you toss us isn’t even a whole fucking bone. And the second we say something, you all go “UGH WHY ARE YOU COMPLAINING YOU GOT SOMETHING!”
Please. Delete your blog, you useless shit.
Re: Big Hero 6
Try not to let it get to you. I anticipate quite a number of complaints over the next year, as more people learn about this film's existence.
I do wonder what actual Japanese people have to say about it, though.

Re: Big Hero 6
I'm also curious as to how the Japanese will relate to these characters.
This could be more controversial than Frozen. Of course lol.

Re: Big Hero 6
As long as the characters' designs don't resemble the asian cats from Lady and the Tramp/Aristocats I think we'll be okay.
I am interested in this project, though. Less fairy tale-ish and more based on original ideas ala Lilo and Stitch and Wreck it Ralph, I hope it's a hit.

Grace gives a rundown on Animation in 2014. The only film missing is that "Legends of Oz:Dorothy Returns" film that's been delayed for a couple years.

Re: Big Hero 6
Actually this is an adaptation of a comic book from Marvel and this one is from Walt Disney animation studios and Marvel animation productions. Let's never forget Disney animation also did non-fairy tale book movies like Oliver and Company (Modern for the 80s version of Oliver Twist), Great Mouse Detective, 101 Dalmatians etc. and some original ones like Rescuers or Lion King (although based on Hamlet and Kimba).thedisneyspirit wrote:As long as the characters' designs don't resemble the asian cats from Lady and the Tramp/Aristocats I think we'll be okay.

I hope the teaser appears with Frozen and i hope this becomes a blockbuster for both Disney and Marvel animation, we can get possiblities of having an animated Power Pack movie and also a Paperman animated styled Howard The Duck animated feature from Disney and Marvel animation productions would be good too. As a fan of both Disney and Marvel comics i was very pleased with the live-action Marvel movies Disney co-produced like Thor 1 & 2, Iron Man 3, Captain America and Avengers i'm curious to see how Disney handles Marvel Animation on the big screen. I've been impressed with WDA's own animation studios for the past 4 years and shouldn't let me down here now.
Or maybe the teaser will appear in spring, who knows when we'll get that teaser.

Man, these Disney critics sure get their facts about Disney so often wrong. Mulan would like to have a word with that chick.
