Bummer. I wondered about it last week, too, but I was too bogged down in homework to check with you guys. About the whole double points day, has it actually been confirmed that there will be one? I don't recall getting any notices saying there will be surprise double points days this year.

I just redeemed my first reward. :) I decided to get the Jim Shore Straight on Till Morning figuring. I'm not really sure if Jim Shore is my style, but I've always drooled over the Jim Shore Chesire Cat at Disneyland. Has anyone else gotten it, and if so, did you like it?

Anyone interested in making an arrangement for a $50 Delta Vacations e-certificate? I redeemed my points for this reward and am unable to use it on my vacation because it occurs during black-out dates. The certificate lasts until the end of March I think and I don't believe there are any more black-out dates after the holidays. I'd be up for trading some codes from blu-rays/dvds for the e-certificate code or making another arangement.

Wow! Thanks a lot AlladinFan!
Just used it before entering my Alice blu-ray code.

I started collecting points when the system was introduced, but then I got really confused because when I went to check on my points later on, they were gone/had expired. So after that, I gave up on it. Whatever!

Do points you accumulate expire after a certain point? I'm fairly new to DMR, so I didn't even think about this until I read the above post.

I have 1100+ points so far, but haven't really seen anything that I want to redeem any of the them for. I hope you don't start losing them after a while! :o

I heard they can if you don't log in often.

If you don't log into your account for 90+ days then they expire.

Yeah, that's most likely what happened. I wish I could have saved them all and entered the numbers all at once. Right now, there's not much I could get with the numbers I haven't entered. I guess browsing the rewards wouldn't hurt, though.

Thanks for the heads up AladdinFan! Be warned, though, guys. This expires December 15th, so either hold out for a possible double points day or enter a code and get an extra 50 points.
Just a reminder to anyone still waiting to use this code, it expires tomorrow 12/15/10!

I just used it before entering the code for Fantasia/Fantasia 2000 Blu-ray/DVD and got my 50 extra points (250 total for the title).

Thanks again for letting us know AladdinFan! 8)

I wonder if I should take advantage of this or hold-off and hope for a double points day announcement this Saturday for the more the merrier promo.

I'm going to wait because they will always have bonus points here and there randomly. I'm going to take my chances and maybe it'll be double points day.

By the way, still no sign of my blu-ray player arriving.

Thanks for the code! I'd rather have something than nothing at all.

I redeemed the code yesterday on an unused DVD I had lying around -- thanks, AladdinFan. As I see it, it's only a 50 point "loss" if a double points day is around the corner (which I think is just wishful thinking at this point), and a 50 point gain otherwise. Also, I hadn't received bonus points on top of an existing code in ages, not since they stopped giving them for entering the codes from new titles early. I never hesitated to enter my codes when they had those kinds of promos, so no point hoarding now either! :)

Even if there were double points this Saturday (and I'm sure Disney would have advertised it plenty to get people buying early), I'm sure they'll have another cap of 3-5 codes like last time. In which case I would have entered my unused blu rays before the DVD I redeemed, so again no loss.

I'm new to using DMR :o But the last few months i've been collecting up the codes I get now instead of throwing them out and have used them, and today reached over 1000 something points, so I redeemed it and got the Walt Disney Treasures: You're Host, Walt Disney which i've been wanting or awhile :P Next DMR code I get i'll have enough to get Smart House and i'll be satisfied with DMR for awhile :D

I'll be getting some Disney blu-rays for Xmas, so I hope we get double points on or just after.

On Xmas Day or New Years would be a great day for double points!!!

So tomorrow's the last of the More the Merrier promos. Here's hoping for a double points day announcement. 8)

Just logged into DMR and saw they are offering 200 bonus points to those who choose to pre-order Tangled through the site. Information can be found here: http://www.disneymovierewards.go.com/presell-titles/

So, instead of getting just 125 for the title after purchase, you'd get a total of 325.

Anyone going to take advantage of this offer?
