Especially since the DMR logo is pushed so far out.

I think it's safe to assume that Disney will release "The Lion King" like "Bambi," a two-disc release with just one DVD and one BD. I won't complain until I find out how much bonus material will be on that BD.

I'm so glad they'll release 'The Lion King 1½' on Blu-ray too!

I like that the Lion King 1 DVD is colorful...makes up for the boring gray 1 1/2 and 2 :-/

Do you guys think this will mean we will see the sequels packaged individually?

Some countries released 'Bambi and the Great Prince of the Forest' separately... So, I think so...

I really hope Disney reconsiders putting The Lion King on 2 BDs (minus the 3DBD) rather than just 1. Not only are there 2 different versions of the film, but there are TONS of bonuses, and there will more than likely be more.

I haven't got the resources to check this, but I believe that Disney now uses 100GB rather than 50GB to hold their BDs.

I'm probably going to pick up the box-set, as I've always had a soft-spot for "The Lion King" sequels, but I hope Disney comes up with a better way of placing the discs in this box set than what they did with the "Toy Story" set, which is a nightmare.

Also hoping for disc security. Not wild about the loose discs like with the Tron identity disc edition!

I really hope that, inside the box, we find 3 bluray cases, one for each movie.

Im not big into the sequels. But just pondering, does this mean an eventual Aladdin release will have a boxed-set like this too?

Same here. A film like Lion King is bound to have tons more bonuses or at least a greater interest in them.

Me too... If it's not in a more secured way than the Toy Story Collection Blu rays were than I might not pick this up...and it depends if this is released in October or if they others will be separate....I will reserve my decision until a lot more info on the Lion King Collection on what type of packaging it is and such...
