Everybody Loves Raymond: The Complete First Season $14.99 Used at FYE.

This is easily one of the biggest, if not THE biggest box set on my shelf. it's only 5 discs, but the packaging is just huge. If I buy all 9 seasons individually I will have absolutely no shelf space. I might not continue to buy these sets and save up for the complete series set because it will take up less shelf space.

This is a good reason why I have been getting into "repackaging" my DVD's. The original packaging given to us by Hollywood is often bulky, and many times does not match up wit past packaging. Case in point would be "Smallville."

I actually have "Raymond" on DVD. I collected each season individually and I have to say, if I had kept them in the original packaging, I would have no space for anything else!

Does the packaging of Raymond's later seasons not match up with the packaging of the early seasons? And how did you repackage them? I would really love to save shelf space! Haha!

Ryan, are Dexter and Entourage both good shows? I've been very interested in them for a while now, I just can't decide whether or not to buy them.

The Office: Season Four - 18.99 - (I wanted to get Season Three, but they were out.)

I was surprised that the dvd came with a script for one of the episodes.

Yes, they are very good. I picked up season 1 of Entourage on Black Friday when it was $9.99 at Best Buy, and that was only 8 episodes and since I haven't had much free time because of finals I've only seen all 8 season 1 episodes and the first episode of season 2, and it's a really good show.

I like Dexter as well, but it's very bloody and gory (if your stomach can handle these types of things). I only watched one episodes since I got the set (the episodes are an hour long, and like I said, I haven't had much free time), but I liked it a lot.

Entourage is on HBO and Dexter is on Showtime, so prepare yourself for excessive cursing, nudity, and all the works. Not that it bothers me, I just wasn't sure if you knew that that's what you get when you watch an HBO/Showtime series :) .

So yes, if I were you I would buy both sets. I would look for them used because since they are HBO / Showtime the sets are really expensive (except for when they are on sale).

Thanks! So Entourage is a half-hour?

I'm mainly interested in Dexter because of Julie Benz. :D

My favourite episode ever. Sadly, in my area anyway even on the day of release did not have the script to 'Dinner Party'.

Yeah, Entourage is a half hour. And having Julie Benz in Dexter is definitely a plus :)

Family Guy, Volume 7: Big Fat Peter Collector's Pack; Target Exclusive Limited Edition, $34.99. I couldn't find a picture online of the Big Fat Peter Collector's Pack so I posted the standard artwork. The main reason I bought this edition was because I have OCD about my DVD box sets - they all have to match up! Since Volumes 1 - 6 come in a cardboard box and volume 7 was a keepcase in a slipcover, I liked the BFPCP because it is the standard edition in the slipcover in the cardboard box, along with the exclusive bonuses . Whew, that was a mouthful.

They were on sale for 12.99 each on amazon.com and I had wanted to get the whole series for a long time, so I couldn't not buy them for that price
