What? Sequels, as in, more than one? Or is the writer putting words into Iger's mouth? :P

Nor Princess and the Frog. If Tiana wasn't the first black princess, I have to wonder if they would even give a darn about that movie.

Anyway, someone made a GIF set on tumblr comparing Anna to Rapunzel.

I'm glad there are enough differences between them to distinguish who's who.

That being said, I hope neither female from Big Hero 6 ends up with this style. It would stop being cute and show how Disney would rather go the safe route than be unique. :P

Im not against a Frozen sequel, but lets not let the latter end of the Canon be filled with Frozen and Tangled 2,3,4 and 5!

Btw, Katniss was criticised over her body size because it didnt reflect her physical description. The Hunger Games was about an oppressed society starved into submission, which JLaw didnt embody. It wasnt about actresses not looking good enough. Many felt that the actress who played Rue matched Katniss better.

I felt the movies and books established that Katniss was a skilled hunter and many times, she wonder off-limits to catch rabbits, deer and other animals as food for her family. So it makes sense that she would have a strong body type.

...I apologise in advance if this turns into a Hunger Games thread.

Oh gosh, I hope they're not milking this to death :(

BTW, awesome concept art with little Anna and little evil Elsa!

But I don't think a sequel could be made by Disney Toon Studios. It could be made by Walt Disney Pictures. If they take them seriously I would like a sequel. I mean, when did we have a "fairytale sage" or trilogy that was actually good? It would be nice to see Disney Pictures to create a good saga like Pixar did with Toy Story. But, I think It could be really hard to have a good plot and It would never be better than the original. But we''ll see.
I want a Frozen videogame, not Disney Infinity, a real videogame. I know lately that kind of games have been pretty bad (Brave, Ralph(god, this movie was about videogames and the game sucked, shame on you), Princess and the frog), but I would have been nice to control Frozen characters a little, to see their story in a videogame, I don't know...

Eh, Disney video games haven't been all that good since Lion King on the SNES/ Sega Genesis. They've all been extremely dumbed down. Kingdom Hearts doesn't count.

They're all made for like 3-5 year olds, and not for well, everybody who wants to play anymore. But as longs as the kids who play them, enjoy them, don't see no reason to make them.

As for Frozen 2, I don't know anymore. I was personally hyped with the idea at first then Tumblr made this " Lets make 20 Elsa clones idea with different powers like Avatar the last Airbender, make this Frozen 2" ! ughhh, no, just nooo.

Hopefully Disney has better ideas than just making Frozen the new last Airbender.

Oh please don't let this become a franchise! Disney is truly obsessed with them at the moment; a sequel will come if it creatively comes, not because some Disney executives needs it to become a franchise.

Of course, if the story was good etc etc then yes by all means go for it, but it is still playing with fire. If it isn't as successful as Frozen is, it will be deemed a flop and then it will be all "Disney sold out making a sequel blah blah blah" thus I fear undoing some of their good and solid work over the past few years.

There will be integration in the theme parks, Elsa & Anna induction into the Princess Line, & the Broadway show. Can it just be left at that for now?!

I still want confirmation that Bell / Menzel will be continuing their vocal work for their characters as well …. would be such a shame if they didn't. Especially Elsa.

I'm going to say something that might not be popular but here it goes.
I wouldn't mind seeing a Sequel to Wreck it Ralph or even Frozen, only if it's in theaters first and greatly improves over the original and not a DTV release ala Planes (or at least how it was suppose to be) It's been about 6 years since Ariel's Beginning which was the last DTV Animated Disney Movie. The First DTV movie Return of Jafar was 20 years ago and the worst one that was made Cinderella II was 12 years ago and I think enough time has passed to give the current Disney a shot at making a sequel to Wreck It Ralph or even possibly Frozen.

Also remember what Lasseter said about the DTV Sequels, that no more would be made except for the Tinker Bell Films and if it would benefit The Disney Princess Franchise which is why at the time the only one that they continued to make was Ariel's Beginning dropping plans for Dumbo II and others.

If they decide to go ahead with the sequel, I hope they give it time and not rush through production. And as long as the same people are behind it, as well as the original voice cast, I am fully on board.

Well, you know me. I'm always fine with sequels as long as they're well written and, in these cases, animated.

This reminds me of Lilo and Stitch, when that film was a success, Disney milked the franchise to death: 4 movies, two tv shows (one being anime even!), videogames, countless merchandise, EXTRATERRORSTIAL being changed to a "Tamer" ride with Stitch, and Stitch being "unofficially" added to Mickey and the Gang in the parks. -.- People got tired of Stitch's face soon.

The same will happen with Frozen I think if Disney oversaturates it.

^Guess I shouldn't tell you that Japan is in love with Stitch even to this day. He even had an anime where he gets a new owner, and where Lilo makes a special appearance in one episode.

Olaf will be the Stitch of Frozen.

This is a little off topic but holy Moses I want to see THE LEGO MOVIE!!! Not only have critics raved about it but it looks awesome! Phil and Chris are really funny guys, their last two movies were funny as hell.

No doubting DreamWorks will try and snag them :(

I'm still upset at Disney for not release Frozen in Blu-ray 3D. I won't be buying this movie. It's a harsh decision but I spend my money on stuff I want not stuff Disney puts out for me to buy. :x  #whohadthisgreatidea #nofrozen3d

Just got back from seeing it. While the movie was good and funny, i don't think it's anywhere near as good as the critics are making it out to be. I was honestly surprised, cause I would rank it within the 70s, maybe early 80s, but no where near 98%.

With the success the film has had, I think they certainly will release it, just a matter of time. I wouldn't worry if I were you.
