Cool colver there. I saw that box set cover and I just assumed they were going to put all three Aladdin films in a trilogy set much like the Lion King set out later this year. The front looks similar in design although the side doesn't but it does look like the Ultimate edition set. Anyways I wish I had that box set for my shelf but they don't sell that anywhere around here.

Speaking of different packaging. Has anyone bought any of the Treasures tins in an oversized cardboard box? I've bought a couple and they had them wrapped in a cardboard box. The box features what appears to be stonework like it's like the Disney World/ Cinderella's castle. Tinkerbell is on it and Walt Disney himself is walking out of the castle gate archway.
The only place I've seen these are at Sunrise Records.

Yup. They usually use those types of outer boxes in warehouse stores like Costco or Sam's Club (I've seen them at Costco).

hey Jack, if you're from San Diego, you should use the Fry's Electronics Ad (found in the back of the Sunday SPORTS section of the Union Trib); they price the newly released DVDs (just the popular ones) @ $14.77 (or sometimes lower than what Best Buy offers)... :)

Thanks for the tip. I've usually just looked at Circuit City's or Wal Mart's ads to see if they're lower, but next time I'll check out Fry's.

How did you order that from the Disney Movie Club? It's not available, as far as I can tell. You are talking about Volume 1?

Well, I finally got my sealed R1 Walt Disney Teasures: Mickey Mouse in Living Color Volume 1, in the mail. I purchased it off E-bay from a reliable seller. It came sealed, in the tin! The best part...I paid $50.00, total, for it, Buy It Now. These things have been going for well over $80.00 on E-bay, and some of them aren't even sealed. I also just won The Ultimate Toy Box on E-bay, still sealed, R1. I can't wait to get that one! I paid alot for it, but I don't have any of the Toy Story movies, and I hear that the Ultimate Toy Box is the way to go. I can't wait to get it!

Now, if I could just bring myself to open the WDT: Mickey Mouse in Living Color Volume 1 set. :D

All of the Disney Treasures are available but Silly Symphonies from the Disney Movie Club. They have some listed on the website but you have to call for Mickey Mouse in Living Color Vol. 1.

May I ask where you got it? I'm desperate! :D

EDIT: Whoops, forgot to mention what I got recently! My newest DVD is the Mulan - SE DVD. For my birthday I'm planning on purchasing Brother Bear, Pocahontas and Tarzan.
