I guess I'm the only one who doesn't like the artwork for this collection. I get that they're going for a stylized, retro, storybook feel but I still find the way the characters are illustrated pretty unappealing.

Maybe their faces are a bit unappealing, but in a whole, I really like those covers.

Then do some research, my friend I've stated my dislike for it as well. The only passable exception was the one for "Mermaid", actually.
They could be better-looking, true, but what really sells the covers for me is the visual consistency from one release to another. I think that's a first for Disney; hopefully they don't mess it up like Platinums and Diamonds, and follow it through until its end.
I just got a notice today saying that my copy of the Disneyland set had shipped! I'm interested in seeing what's on this set. I'm hoping for at least a few tracks that aren't on a lot of the other park music CD's.
I personally really like most of the covers so far in this set. But even more than that, I've enjoyed every CD in this set so far. I hope that Disney decides to continue this series. I know I'd gladly pre-order another year's worth of them like I did this year's collection.
I just saw the track listing of the Disneyland set and it's a complete waste of time. A variation of what's currently sold in the parks and some tracks from "A Musical History of Disneyland". NOTHING from the new 60th Anniversary shows is represented.
It would have been better to do Sword in the Stone, Pete's Dragon, Robin Hood, Bedknobs, or really aything else.
I'm glad that I'm FINALLY ABLE TO HAVE A RELEASE WITH FANTASMIC SONGS.
But I'm also very disappointed that World of Color isn't included. They should at least put Part of Your World, it's so beautiful and now I'll probably have to wait 60 more years to maybe hear it in its full glory
