Re: Frozen: Part V
I like the song, but if I were you all I would prepare to read lots of slaughter of negative comments, on tehir facebook page people are complaining about not having Idina's version, obviously they don't understand Demi's song is for the credits.

Ehh, I don't know... I mean, it's great that she stands up against bullying and everything, but personally I don't think she's all that talented. It's all a matter of opinion, though.SWillie! wrote:I think both because yes, she's popular, but also because she's good. As in, she's genuinely talented. Moreso than a lot of what's on the radio today.Mach Full Force wrote:I don't wanna seem like a party pooper or anything, and I understand that she used to work for Disney... But why Demi of all performers? Just 'cause she's in vogue?

You can't argue her voice, even if you don't personally like it. The girl can sing.Mach Full Force wrote:Ehh, I don't know... I mean, it's great that she stands up against bullying and everything, but personally I don't think she's all that talented.

I think.... this is going to be the biggest Disney movie we've seen in a long time.
Re: Frozen: Part V
I liked the cover but I was hoping to hear more parts from the original song. I loved when it appeared in the TV spot.I hate they spoiled Olaf ending...
Still, I hope Idina is the one to sing when Let It Go gets nominated for best song. (I know, I'm trusting too much)

I've always had mixed feelings about these radio-pop covers of songs in the movie, ever since Beauty and the Beast, BUT quite a few of them are lovely, and I think this is a very thrilling upbeat rendition for audiences to be hearing as they are exiting the theatre.

Did not think that this pop version of Let It Go was anything special, not a catchy song in my opinion. A little bland, not a melody I remember after hearing it once. Hopefully it will grow on me. I have no doubt that the movie will be great at least, no matter how the music turns out to be.
Favorite Disney-movies: Snow White, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, Mulan, Tarzan, Tangled, Frozen, Pirates, Enchanted, Prince of Persia, Tron, Oz The Great and Powerful

This was always my initial reaction to many a pop-version. With all the riffing and stylization, you do lose a lot of great melody. If I hadn't already heard that chunk from Idina's live performance, I would probably be less impressed.Prince Edward wrote:Did not think that this pop version of Let It Go was anything special, not a catchy song in my opinion. She can hit the notes, but her tone is pretty awful. While I would like singers to have range + good tone, I personally think a good tone is more important. Which is why Selena Gomez wouldn't have bothered me so much, because I do like her tone.SWillie! wrote:You can't argue her voice, even if you don't personally like it. But I know we have to think of Disney in a "at least it wasn't X" fashion, so Demi isn't the worst of the worst.

Listening to most often lately:

Re: Frozen: Part V
Having listened to Demi's song, I have to wonder how the credits will play at the end. Will it just be text on black, or will it be something like Tangled and re-tell the movie in cute images?
Now this is slightly OT, but guys, you have to see "Chasing Hans" on Emma's Disney World. Seriously, I know it's just MS Paint images with Frozen character faces plastered on top, but the feels, man...
I imagine it's because I know too much about Frozen...

I imagine they will put some art in the credits and we'll see redesign of the characters and I'm sure we'll see Elsa creating snow, or the castle or something like that. Or maybe it's credits like Wall-E that continued to tell the story!Warm Regards wrote:Having listened to Demi's song, I have to wonder how the credits will play at the end.
