Thanks. I was just curious about that one because it's not often you can find a redemption on the DMR site that will return almost 1/4 the points back to you -- 1/2 if you entered the codes today!
BTW, your advice on Meet The Robinsons panned out -- I was able to enter the code today even after previously claiming the DVD's code. I thought maybe you could only get away with that if they were technically different releases (e.g. Gold vs Platinum, or 40th Anniversary vs 45th) but I guess it doesn't matter. Good to know for future upgrades!

Well, the cute was refering to the actual CG Kevin-babies. Like, in the movie. But I want one of those plushies anyway, because baby Kevinses rock my socks.
I'm not entirely sure where they were manufactured. I'm not entirely sure I want to know. Oh, the sordid world we live in.

All future Disney plush goods will be manufactured in the basement of Shanghai Disneyland.
I was one of the ones who put a code in early and didn't get the double points, well I just checked and they did add them in. I also put in 11 codes and I only got the normal level on the 11th So it only does count 10. LOL!
That's really weird. I entered over 80 codes I hadn't used and each of them gave me double points, eventually reaching over 18,000 points. I had heard that only 10 were going to be counted, but I tried an 11th just to see if it would be counted and it was. I got double points on each of the codes I entered yesterday.
I called my mom to enter the codes she hadn't used on her account and she got over 6000 points on ALL the codes she entered. So in the afternoon they were definately offering points on every code entered.
However, I told a friend to enter theirs sometime in the evening and they could only do 10 or so. I don't know when the cut off time came?
I checked my points today to see if they were still there and they are.

I'm sure that Disney would never take away points from a member, but they probably realized their error in not putting a cap on them and so you are one of the lucky ones who got virtually unlimited double points yesterday.

Be sure to enter your code for the 5 points. For those of you who didn't get the email, here you go!
5-point code...

Rats. Too bad it wasn't available for double points day. Thanks for the heads-up.
^^^ I don't think we'll hurt for missing those extra five bonus points, lol.
However, this one might be a bit harder to swallow... from the same newsletter:
Gobble UP this bonus point offer before it floats away. Earn an additional 50 points when you enter the Magic Code for the UP Blu-ray™ 4-Disc Combo Pack. This offer begins 11/10 and ends 12/1.
I assume the 2nd Double Points Day won't be until December, which means sacrificing the bonus 50 points now for an extra 250 points then?

For those who are ordering baby Kevin, they will already be sacrificing Up to be able to purchase it. So to them, 50 points is a good thing.

How's that? The Kevin offer is good until Feb 28, and even expedited shipping is available until Dec 11 (which is likely after the next Double Points Day). So unless you absolutely have to order ASAP, you still have a choice of which points promotion to take advantage of.

It is just the fact that there are only a limited number of plush available. You are also betting whether they will have any left by Double Points Day.

Well you won't be fighting me for any ... although I haven't seen the movie yet, so who knows.

I was burned with the special blue Lightning McQueen that you could have gotten when you added points from the Cars Blu-Ray. They were limited and they were gone within a week, so I didn't have a chance to get one. I've seen them selling for as high as $200 on eBay. Ever since, I don't hesitate if there is an exclusive promo through DMR.

If you are missing points from the "Double Points Day" and you entered them in Nov. 5th, if you go to the "Contact Us" option and send them an email on which ones you need your bonus points for, they will credit you.
Barbossa wrote:I was just looking at the Muppet movies in a local store (The Muppet Movie, The Great Muppet Caper, Muppet Christmas Carol) and notced theey don't have the DMR logo on them. Do they come with a code for points?
They are listed on the DMR site as of 08-11-2009,
Muppet Treasure Island: Kermit's 50th Anniversary Edition - 75
The Great Muppet Caper: Kermit's 50th Anniversary Edition - 75
The Muppet Movie: Kermit's 50th Anniversary Edition DVD - 75
The Muppet Christmas Carol: Kermit's 50th Anniversary - 75
The Muppets' Wizard Of Oz - 100
so you might have to mail off the proof of purchase tab(s) for points
What's interesting is I picked-up The Muppet Movie today and it did come with a DMR code, but Muppet Christmas Carol didn't for some reason. So, some of the Muppet movies did get re-packaged.
I *just* joined the DMR club and was looking around the site, and looked over the reward of the "special private tour" of the Walt Disney Studios. I got to wondering . . . is it one of the only ways to get a tour? I remember reading that D23 members can also get a tour if they are lucky enough to sign up before all the spots are gone, but is a private tour something a member of the general public can get (like with a ticket admission) or do you have to know someone?
