I also wonder who has such no dignity as to produce and participate in these things. But worse, who buys them.

I don´t mind stuff, like what has been said (Good Times) because:

1. These are popular fairy tales.

2. Most of them are so charming that it feels refreshing to look at something that´s not Disney related.

But when it comes down to rip-offs, and horrible ones at that, yes, don´t even try.

Yeah, let's just slap a mustache on Gaston and say this is a brand new character. What losers these people are.
Disney is awesome, and was the biggest part of my childhood.

This is actually going to theaters in Germany on June 27. Disney's Planes is released on August 29 there. You can watch the trailer, here.

Ah oh well. That's what happens when you make something completely unoriginal and not creative.

The movie used to be called Airplanes instead of Jets and had a logo similar to Planes. I guess they had to make these changes to avoid getting sued by Disney. Still, a blatant rip-off though.

What happens when you rip-off both the Disney Princess and the Monster High brand? You get this:

The Planes rip-off got an English trailer. It will be called Wings in English-speaking countries instead of Jets. Don't understand why since Jets is already an English word.

"Ey, can I wheel you home?" Best pickup line ever.

It's one thing to take public domain stories for your own movie, even if the Disney version will be the one most well known of that fairy tale.

However, original ideas of the own company...Seriously, "Braver"? :headshake:

The first Frozen rip-off has arrived!

Does the logo look familiar to you?

This is actually a Canadian film called The Legend of Sarila which was produced before Frozen and has nothing to do with The Snow Queen. When Phase 4 Films acquired the U.S. distribution rights, it changed its title and logo to cash in on Disney's Frozen. It will be released on November 05, 2013 in select theaters, VOD and DVD. You can watch the English trailer here.

Canada if you want to promote this movie don't try to make it into a mockbuster sounding title.

You know, I hope Jeffrey Katzenberg or Dreamworks as a whole sue Lionsgate for this. And please tell me this garbage was NOT Michael Clarke Duncan's final film!

 The fact that celebrities like Samuel L. Jackson and Leonard Nimoy have signed to star in that film just shows what anyone would do for a few bucks.

Frozen Land seems to only share a logo, and Luke actually reviewed Zambezia.

Another Planes rip-off called Sky Force in the U.K. and Wings: Sky Force Heroes in the U.S. As with Cars, it looks Planes will "inspire" many of those. Here's the English trailer.
