My Dad came back from Canada, and with him he bought:
Animaniacs: Volume 1
Pinky and the Brain: Volume 1
Little Mermaid
I just need to pay him now!

Most Haunted Series 6 Vol 3 R2 PAL
Another 4 disc set, the final of series 6 making the whole of the series a whopping 12 disc set! Derek is no more... on to series 7!

KYTV Series 2 R2 PAL
More tacky but funny comedy with Mike Flex, Mike Channel and Anna Dapter.

Doctor Who: The Sontaran Experiment R2 PAL
Yay! The first of the "Value Editions". It may be available for £8, but it still features: a 40 minute documentary (on the Sontarans); Audio Commentary (with Elisabeth 'Sarah Jane' Sladen and Bob 'Wallace and Gromit' Baker and Philip Hinchcliffe); Subtitled production notes and a photo gallery.

X-Men Trilogy R2 PAL
Because I'm stupid, I got this too, already having the three individual 2 disc sets. These come in a slipcase, with each 2 disc set being packed in a thin case inside. The 6 disc set also has the Stan Lee Comic from the US X3 Collectors Edition.

The Little Mermaid: Platinum Edition R1 NTSC
Yee! One, I purchased right after class at Best Buy, Tuesday (with Flounder plushie in tow). The other, just yesterday I went back trying to find a Sebastian to finish the combo, but no luck-- so I just picked up another (sans plushie) to keep in its wrapping.

I went to Best Buy, today, and picked up:
A Nightmare On Elm Street (Two-Disc Infinifilm Special Edition) for $19.99. I had a $2.00 off coupon, which Best Buy has available online to print out, which brought the total to $17.99.

I love this film, and do not have any version of it on DVD. For some reason, I'm in the mood for horror. Perhaps it is because I've been hit by the spirit of Halloween. Bwaahhhhaaahhhh!
I also picked up a Christmas present for my 18-month old nephew, Camden. I purchased Finding Nemo (2-Disc Collector's Edition).

It was listed at $22.99, but, I used the Circuit City price match of $16.99! Camden has had my copy for a couple of months, because it is his FAVORITE movie. In fact, everytime I see him, he calls me "Uncle Nemo", because he knows I will put the movie in for him. My Sister told me that he insists on watching it at least once a day. I'm so glad that I am able to share my love of Disney and Pixar films with him. So, I decided that I'll just buy him his own copy, for Christmas. I can't wait to give it to him (and get my copy back
)!
Plus, I got some more points on the good ol' Reward Zone card!

I love Siren!
Just got back from Costco and found some great deals!
I bought:
Everybody Loves Raymond: Season 2 - $16.89
Everybody Loves Raymond: Season 3 - $16.89
Mulan II - $12.99
I've been meaning to pick up the Raymond DVDs for a while now, and figured now would be a good time at a price like that! As for Mulan II, I've never seen it, but bought it for Disney collection purposes.
I also saw that Costco had A Prairie Home Companion out before the street date. I almost bought it, but decided that I didn't need to spend anymore money today.

I love buying from GameStop. Thanks to their 3 for $10 sale, these 8 along with another DVD was a cool $30...
Doctor Who: Lost in Time - The William Hartnell Years $3.33
Doctor Who: Lost in Time - The Patrick Troughton Years $3.33
Doctor Who: Spearhead from Space $3.33
Doctor Who: The Ribos Operation $3.33
Doctor Who: The Androids of Tara $3.33
Doctor Who: The Armageddon Factor $3.33
Doctor Who: The Five Doctors - Special Edition $3.33
Doctor Who: Remembrance of the Daleks $3.33
Not too shabby for Doctor Who, especially considering their $19.98, $24.98, and $34.98 SRP's
BTW the other DVD was Species (the re-release with commentaries.) Now all I need is the bonus disc from the boxset and I'll be set, as I don't care much for Species III.

After seeing Open Season in IMAX 3-D, tonight, I hit Wal-Mart, to see what titles they had in their $4.88 DVD sale. Quite a few titles, including many horror titles. Having picked up A Nightmare On Elm Street: 2-Disc Infinifilm Special Edition this weekend, I was in the mood for more. So, I picked up:
A Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge

A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors

A Nightmare On Elm Street 4: The Dream Master

and
Wes Craven's New Nightmare

All for 4.88 each, plus tax. Not bad! Now I'm all set for a horror film fest!
