But still very fun.

CLUCKIf these studios can do it, why not WDAS? Why do they get a free pass?disneyprincess11 wrote:Doug Walker's review. I'm glad he has caught on that Disney is making the same movie & characters over and over again

It's just as Sotiris implied previously; The Japanese trailer would be more authentic to the film's tone and feel, as they usually are. I didn't care for the first Japanese teaser of baby Moana, but it's become my favorite trailer for it to date.disneyprincess11 wrote:The Japanese trailer is out and HOLY SPOILERS. I can't even show the thumbnail because it's a spoiler.
And it's a pity how the hand drawn segments are generic.disneyprincess11 wrote:Disney has posted the whole You're Welcome scene! So, you can just tell how much John and Ron wanted this to be 2D.
Grace from Beyond the Trailer said something similar in her Moana review. How there's a "Disney checklist" (e.g., a strong female teams up with a snarky male) and how the movie is pleasant but a bit derivative.disneyprincess11 wrote:Doug Walker's review. I think you're right. In the Spanish version they say Zootropolis in the movie too when they refer to the city, so I guess it's the same with the European English Version.Warm Regards wrote:Not for character names, but I think they had to redub Zootopia for the European English version. Every time they'd say "Zootopia", they'd record a second version where they say "Zootropolis". Unless that was just the title and not the movie itself?Sotiris wrote: She actually does sound a little better yelling Vaiana instead of Moana. You can listen to it on Spotify.
This whole thing of dubbing the name in the English-language version of the film and soundtrack is really weird though. Has Disney done it before?
He wasn't too easy to find because of the style of animation and because his colours are a bit changed. Here it is: https://twitter.com/patrickzfilms/statu ... 6998464517DisneyFan09 wrote:And pardon my ignorance, but wasn't Flounder supposed to be in the scene? I couldn't find him.
The answer to that is easy:DisneyEra wrote:If these studios can do it, why not WDAS? Why do they get a free pass?disneyprincess11 wrote:Doug Walker's review. I'm glad he has caught on that Disney is making the same movie & characters over and over again

Another Dutchie here. I adore Vayen. For once a celebrity casting that actually sounds great. Her high note towards shows she's a trained vocalist.Mmmadelon wrote:Vajen van den Bosch, the Dutch voice for Moana, performed 'How Far I'll Go' (the Dutch version 'Ooit zal ik gaan') on a Dutch Kids television show. I think she did a pretty good job!

Yes, I was also very happy to hear she's the Dutch Moana/Vaiana! She's a great singer. I also really like the Dutch voice for Maui, René van Kooten, he's a very well trained vocalist too.PatrickvD wrote:Another Dutchie here. I adore Vayen. And a fun coincidence that her name matches so well with Vaiana.
