I have a hodgepodge of a collection right now. Mostly Game of Thrones and Disney, but I do have the whole Wizard of Oz, Big Bang Theory, Ninja Turtle and My Little Pony sets as well (minus chase and exclusives... luckily for my wallet I don't like the look of the Metallic Pops). I'm attempting to limit my collection to the lines I already have stated, though with the X-men and Orphan Black pops coming this fall I will be needing to make a trip to Ikea for more shelves.

Wao. :o

One last question: Why is it that Funko releases these figures as incomplete collections most of the time?

What do I mean?

-My Little Pony without Applejack

-Game of Thrones lacking characters.

-Wreck it Ralph without Sgt. Calhoun

Of course I know they can´t make every single character for X series. But...

1. When they´re missing just 1 character to make a complete collection.

2. When they released different versions of a character and not just go for different ones.

Because, you might tell me they´ll release them eventually. However, I´ve seen some of these series that have been out for years and never gotten new characters; not to mention retiring most.

And, what´s the hate that exists towards Applejack? Not only did Funko skipped her but there was also this set for Burger King I believe and not only did they not make her toy but instead made other ponies.

Disney is currently my main one, but I've also tried Marvel, as well as a slew of random characters, including all things Daenerys. The Buffy characters will make for the first set that I buy in full, though.

So, went today at my Comic Book Store.

Got: Cruella and King Candy (this one was the last) and since I really wanted her I also got The Evil Queen (last one too).

All very good Pops.

Do you think there´s a chance we can get more villains? Lady Tremaine, Hades and Frollo at least?

They want to save some popular characters to anchor another series. Sometimes though like in the case of The Simpsons they just don't sell well so you are left without main characters like Lisa.

As far as repaints of existing figures. It is easier to do that when a store ask for an exclusive instead of making them a whole new character that requires a new mold.

I believe More Ponies are the way soon though. They just released Apple Jack and Big MacIntosh in the vinyl figure line.

Yeah, I'm a pretty big Simpsons fan, but those were not good-looking figures, so I'm not sad that the line never continued.

But as for hopefuls, besides my Whedon loves, I'm still waiting for a HIMYM set to finally happen.

I was sad to hear that the Power Rangers apparently didn't sell well. I was hopeful that Funko would do a Rita Repulsa Pop. (She never gets good toys.) And maybe even the Blue Ranger (Who was my favorite of the 'good guys' as a kid... I think he may have been one of my first crushes, haha.)

Aside from Disney Villains, the Pops I'm most interested in are Batman & DC Villains (I came to Pops too late to get my favorite DC character Two-Face, and I'm still a little sore about that), the Dragon Ball Z characters (I want Vegeta badly. But, I'll probably get all of them except Goku when I get the money), and the odd outlier character like Hannibal Lecter, Doctor Doom, RoboCop, Knuckles, Shredder, The Bride of Frankenstein and Jason Voorhees (because I thought he was cute. :P ).

I'm really hoping Funko gets a license to do Nintendo characters. I'd LOVE the entire Zelda cast. Powerpuff Girls would look great in the Funko style, too, I think. (Though I somehow doubt that my favorite character from that show, HIM, would make the cut). Also stuff like Audrey II from Little Shop of Horrors and the Child Catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang would be nice to see.

Oh, I really want a Cartoon Network series of figures. I'd like some PPG characters and all (moreso the villains, like Mojo and HIM, than the girls, though), but I'd personally rather have the Eds, Johnny Bravo and Courage myself, so I don't want to see them be forgotten.

Hey, maybe if the Hanna-Barbera set does well enough (I've been keeping my eye out for Barney Rubble anyway(), they'd consider it.

Yeaay! Another DC Comics fan! ;)

BTW, I´ve never been into Two Face. However, have to admit the Funko Pop is REALLY nice.

You know, I´m glad they make all kinds of figures for almost everything. Especially because that way these characters area available for cheap, easy to find and to a casual group of buyers that wouldn´t want to feel "freaky" getting the real figures.

However, there are some that I´d much prefer to get the real thing. For instance, the Thundercats line. I´d rather get the regular, classic action figures that are available at stores. The same thing with Gremlins.

...I might make an exception with Alien since I don´t see myself ever buying a true representation of the character as a figure.

Speaking of horror stuff... Where´s Pinhead?

Regarding Nintendo, I don´t think they´d be making those. Nintendo already has the license "sold". However, that´s just Mario. If they don´t do anything with Zelda count me buying the figures. I mean, I think you can easily make: Link (Cartoon Link variant/chaser), Zelda (Sheik variant/chaser), Ganondorf (Ganon variant) and either a Zora or a Goron variant.

I have some, though i mainly buy them via Amazon. The ones sold close to my place are either characters I don't like or they have unappealing designs.

I knew I recognized your avatar from the movie. I LOVE it. It´s a shame seems we´ll never going to get the live action version.

Regarding where to buy the Pops... I live in Seville. It´s not like there are tons of places to get them. As you mentioned FNAC is one. However, they get few for moments and then get other few ones.

...I´m still kicking myself for not having bought Green Arrow.

You can get them at El Corte Inglés..but kind of the same as FNAC.

The only places I can tell you are: Comic Book Stores.

I saw that they had plenty at mine but I wasn´t sure to get them...yet. However, once I started and talking to the owner and employee told me that they both collect them, showed and asked me how to display them and let me know they´d be getting more and even let me reserve them.

I´ll be getting Captain Hook for sure and probably Scar at the same time when they bring the new Pops at stores.

And, even though I´m not fan of The Jungle Book I´ll be getting the villains as well. I mean, I´m getting all the villains (even got King Candy that I don´t care so much about that character). The ones that look pretty nice are the snakes: Kaa and Sir Hiss.

If Funko gets to make Lady Tremaine, Frollo and Hades I´d be happy.

...and Hades can be made since there´s a Ghost Rider Pop.

PS

I´ve got my Pops in this order: Jafar, Ursula, Cruella, King Candy and Evil Queen.

...BTW, Snow White is the oldest Disney Classic and sometimes the age show. But no one can argue that the designs for the characters are amazing. I really like the one for The Evil Queen.

Older Nicktoons would be nice, as well. I especially want Rocko's Modern Life characters, but I wouldn't say no to Angelica, Helga, or Ren.

ProfessorRatigan Two Face along with the Riddler and Penguin were recently rereleased in Australia. You might be able to find them on an Australia shops website. They already sold out from PopCultcha.

Those 3 being remade after Funko said they would not make more of a retired Pop caused a big stink for them.

How can this things be so addictive?

Started with just Jafar. A couple of days later got Ursula. And, as soon as I got money again I just didn´t buy the ones I needed (Cruella and King Candy) but the one I wanted as well (Evil Queen).

And now, in the upcoming month I´m sure I´ll be getting another one; probably 2. But you´ll see I might be ending up with 3 more. :o

YES! The Last Unicorn rocks! It's such a shame that nowadays it's basically forgotten, and we don't have a live action movie of it due to pesky copyrights. :x
Like I know if the movie was made today it would be hit, considering fantasy is quite popular right now with all the Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones hullabaloo.
Plus, it seems white haired female characters are in fashion (Daenerys, Elsa), so I can easily see people liking the Lady Amalthea.

Cool! I'm in Barcelona, and though I haven't seen them much in the Corte Ingles, there are quite a few on Fnac...Even some at Casa del Libro (though only...Star Wars ones, which really doesn't interest me, I mean I like Star Wars but I'm not really into those pops tbh). There's quite a few comic book stores around here. I barely read comics nowadays but I do like walking around those stores, you can find cool things here and there aside from superhero things.
Like I wanna finish the comic version of the Idhun books, do you know anything about them?

I mostly get the ones about the characters I like or if they have a very good design doll-wise (I won't get Peter Pan because i'm not fond of the character, but he's got one of the best Pops around).

I'm kinda hoping they do a Daisy Pop, if only to complete the Gang. Rapunzel and Tiana would look very cute as Pops, and I know they would sell well. A Hercules set would be awesome to do. Pretty sure they would have Meg arching an eyebrow and give Hercules a big chin ala Woody and Buzz.

I have this website where we write movie reviews and of them is The Last Unicorn (I also have the book; though it´s a shame I didn´t get the Special one made in Spain). When I wrote the article a friend of mine was really impressed. So much, that I wanted to get him the movie. However, it got discontinued almost instantly.

I placed and order in FNAC and the employee told me that the chances were like 0. but he´d do it anyways. I did place the order and was quite amazed when I got the text message a couple of days later telling me they had the movie.
Didn´t know they had them at Casa del Libro. Now I´ll check myself when get the chance.

The Idhun books I read somewhere around they were quite popular. But didn´t read them. Im not that much into reading books lately. Just comics: with the Game of Thrones exception (just bought the first one).

Well, now you know. Go into Comic Book Stores and check for the Funko Pops. They got them.

PS

I also like Star Wars, planning to get the movies on BD but I´m not such a fan as to get merchandise for it.

While we're on the subject of non-Disney Pops, apparently this is happening.

I think it's cute, since back in the day, they used to accidentally make red Huckleberry Hound merchandise. But all these other colors? As a big Huck fan, color me intrigued.

Oh, man, you guys let me down! :P I only just found out this morning that there was an exclusive of Anna frozen like at the end of the film. See here. I'm hoping I can get one at Hot Topic; my sister knows someone who works there who could sit her one to the side if they're still available (or if it's at this HT at all--but my sister found Hipster Ariel there, so I've got my hopes up. Fingers crossed!). This would be the only non-TLM special/rare pop I've bought, although I had considered clown Dumbo for a while.

There's also a glow-in-the-dark Olaf, who I don't care about, and a different Elsa, although I don't see much difference. The bottom of the dress is slightly different, but not worth it, imo. I wish they had made a snowy version of Elsa, so her skin and hair looked whiter like in the majority of the film. I haven't bought any of the new pops yet, just waiting for the prices to come down to at least $10, although if I wait long enough they'll probably come down to $8.95 at the seller I usually buy from.

I got Frozen Anna ($15)! The last one left. I'm so glad I managed to get it, it looks really nice. I wonder why the head is heavier than normal though?

These exclusives really make me hope they come back to TLM eventually. I'd love to get an Ursula with crown and trident, Vanessa, or a green Ursula (when she performs her spell at the end of "PUS"). I want King Triton, Eric, and wedding versions of Eric and Ariel, too, drat it all! :P As far as others, I'd love a Jafar in his white Sultan outfit.
