thought this was cool!
Perhaps it'll be a easter egg as well?tsom wrote:Okay, this DVD business is getting ridiculous. I don't know if I should wait to see if another DVD would be released later on. I mean, Escapay brought up a good point about the deleted song sung by Edward & Nancy. It was said that it'll be in the DVD, but by the looks of it, the song is not listed as a deleted scene.
Is that the same one as the UK HMV disc?jrboy wrote:Target - $15.99
Exclusive Bonus disc includes: “Becoming Enchanted – A New Classic Comes True” featurette

Yes and DAMMIT! Disney's getting my money twice...the things I do for a bonus disc. Maybe I'll give my first copy to Kram.Flanger-Hanger wrote:Is that the same one as the UK HMV disc?jrboy wrote:Target - $15.99

If you wait a week after the release, the bonus exclusive featurette will be up on YouTube and you can watch it for free.Escapay wrote:Yes and DAMMIT! Mmm. Crappy resolution and illegally sourced material all in one.Voiceroy wrote:If you wait a week after the release, the bonus exclusive featurette will be up on YouTube and you can watch it for free.
I have no problem with that for a bonus disc that I will probably never watch more than once.ichabod wrote:Mmm. The BestBuy bonus discs for Dead Man's Chest and At World's End come to mind as having valuable material that should have been included on the general release. AWE especially, as the BB-exclusive featurettes had more substance than half the featurettes on the two-disc.Voiceroy wrote:I have yet to see a bonus disc exclusive from any retailer that was genuinely worth any additional cost.
The BBFC passed it at 30:57.Voiceroy wrote:I'm not going to double-dip on what's probably barely a 10-minute feature just to see it, especially when I'll probably be able to watch it for free online.
It's a sales gimmick they must've picked up from Fox (grr...). Release a modestly-supplemented single-disc now, then a features-packed dual-disc later on (to either promote something else or to generate more sales). I've always had a feeling that Enchanted would get a two-disc double-dip by Christmas, or in 2009 to tie-in with Rapunzel. Of course, I'm buying the Target exclusive regardless because I'm a bonus-disc whore (even though I despise the practice of store-exclusives in general).tsom wrote:BTW, what Disney is doing really isn't fair. They should have just released two versions of the DVD now.
Nope, targets website is mixed with amazon.com, so all the dvds at target.com really come from amazon.comDisneykid wrote:Does anyone know if the Target bonus disc is attached to copies ordered online? My nearest Target is about 20 minutes away, and I work that Tuesday. Target's website makes absolutely no mention of the exclusive disc, so I don't want to order this online only to find out that I'm just getting the normal disc alone as it is.
According to the Blu-Ray review, the D-Files consists of several behind-the-scenes video clips that are offered as rewards for correctly answering questions. I wonder if the BBFC/Target featurette is a combination of all these clips.
