Well...this is the reason they pushed it back from said rumor July to September...
•New game features: The North American release will include a number of new features including Crown Stickers, an extra boss and additional multiplayer options.
So.... basicly it's like we are getting a Special Edition added or a if a Final Mix in a way..so they are adding that to the Japan game and it appearls Leonard Nimoy is Master Xenorat and the Master Eraqus or Terra is being voiced by Mark Hamil....ironic...Spock and Luke in a Kingdom hearts game...or The Joker VA for the best VA of the Joker I think of all time..
Yeah, I heard about that, but I never associated it with the push-back. It was already pushing 6 months and they started translating before the Japanese release.

That's how I feel. I was really glad it was coming out in July because next semester in college is going to be intense for me. Plus, I was thinking of doing a marathon. And now I'm going to want to be playing this while I need to focus. Damn you, Square Enix. You've got too cocky.
(got the PSP last Chrismtas. I is prepared. )

But just you wait- Japan, feeling butthurt that America got something better over their's,- will take vengeance and release "final mix" BbS with even more shitload content than the american's, thus making those gajin jealous and fill with envy.

Good gravy, I envy Japan for their Final Mixes of KH1 and KH2! As for the new release date, I was hoping we'd get it during the Summer! And now, I have to get it during the next semester?! Damn it!

Quite frankly, I have this nagging feeling that the English Version is actually getting all the Final Mix stuff. They're not gonna have a whole lot-if anything-added just for japan. this is a 2gb UMD after all. The sheer amount of rumored changes to the game reinforces my theory.
Besides, Nomura would actually want the "final" version to be available to everyone. THe only thing holding them back is the cluelessness of most consumers here.
And nobody has been confirmed as Terra's VA. Christian Bale? Hah. They get famous people but rarely anyone THAT famous to do a lead.

Wouldn't doubt it. I really hated Squaresoft that first year when they released KH: Final Mix and I couldn't get it. KH was really my first game, which led to the FFs, so I didn't realize this was a tradition of theirs (to deprive everyone of a better version of a great game). I'm kind of numb to it now, but it still pisses me off deep inside.

Original: The bulk of the game is made for release in japan. Made to meet the deadline for the game.
English version: The Japanese release is localized with some of the content that wasnt ready for the japanese release being put into this one.
Final Mix: The true final version of the game. Not localized for costs would exeed the amount of people who wouldnt turn their noses up at it, thinking it's just a cheap way to get money. In other words, cost of localizing would exceed profit.
Im thinking the Final Mix of BBS will have no more than the english version because of the changes that are being made to the latter (scene location changes, extra bosses, addition of critical mode difficulty level, etc.)
The only occassion they've ever added an entire difficulty level was with both FMs. Doesnt that say something?
EDIT: With a swap magic PS2 device, importing games is the easiest thing in the world and playing Final Mix is definitely easy.
^That's true, but it's only 30 bucks and you can download torrents and burn them and use them on your PS2. I bought KH2FM but Downloaded the first FM. Saves money.

Only reason Final Mix even started was because when the American release came out, we got to play against f-ing Sephiroth of all people. Sephiroth is a big deal in Japan. I could imagine the butthurt Japanese' reaction to hearing America got Seph in the game and not theirs, thus SE went immediately to making Final mix crap.
^that proves nothing. Only that some people were upset that Sephiroth wasnt ready at the time they got the game. I still consider my previous statement to be valid.
