oh man, I just realized something...

If Mulans face was painted white and had a couple strands of hair in her face, it would look pretty much identical to the Memoirs of a Geisha poster! (I love that movie!)

what do you think????
(i really like them!!!) :)
I like them too! :) My only problem with the Aladdin cover is that something about it looks like it would be from the cover of Mulan. I think the background on which the main title is on, it is red and orange, and just has a Mulan-feel to it. Also, the area below the carpet looks like the room Mulan went to when she was 'transforming' herself into the boy soldier. I don't know. It could be me. Nice work, ordisney! :D

Ok, I'll return to doing it, I hardly see it as such a huge responsibility though, if you wanted to know what was on the previous pages all you'd have to do is look. I was going to update it but a family friend died. :( I'll take over again though :)

Sorry!

OMG! I'm sorry! I hope all is well.

Also, this is a VERY rough mock-up of the Collector's Set of "The Fab Four". Tell me what I should do/change, and what color (or not) to change the background. I'm not very fond of it, but I have to make the best outta Microsoft Paint :(

I will probably add more villains, sidekicks, etc. to the cover.

Do you appreciate me helping out on updating? And what do you think of my Fun and Fancy Free DVD? That's my TENTH one!

Ordisney's covers.

Post by Disney Duster »

Ordisney, I ADORE your new covers! I especially love Snow White's, Dumbo's and Mulan's! The only ones I don't like are Cinderella's and Lady and the Tramp's. I don't think the white backgrounds work for them, becasue it makes them feel like they are just floating. The reason the white worked for The Little Mermaid was because there was at least some background behind Ariel, and the characters are always floating underwater anyway.

Where did you find that Ariel picture, though? It looks like it's from the cover of my program from The Little Mermaid On Ice. And where did you find the picture of the witch holding the apple with Snow White in it?

OK, I made up a new collector's set, called the "Dog Gone Dogs" Gift Set. It consitsts of a copy of the Platinum Editions of Lady and the Tramp, 101 Dalmatians, and my (made up PE of) A Goofy Movie. Enjoy! Also, look at the corny sub-name I gave it! :D

What? No Oliver and Company? Granted the main character is a kitten, but a lot of the co-stars are canines. That one could go in there just as easily as the ones you do have.

And what about The Fox and the Hound? The second character in the title is pretty much explanatory that that is a dog movie, too.

How about doing one on Disney Princesses?

Yeah, but I think that since the main character is a cat, it wouldn't fit. Now if it were called Dodger and Company, that would be a different story! :D

Well, I could also do a box set called "Canine Chaos" with Oliver and Company, An Extremely Goofy Movie, and Lady and the Tramp II (or 101 Dalmatians II, or the live action version, whichever). Totally forgot that one!
How about putting "Doggone Dogs" and "Canine Chaos" together as one big thick expensive gift set? Then you add The Fox and the Hound into the mix and call the full set, "Disney Goes To the Dogs".

Darn! You got to my post before I edited it! But I could do that. But then it would cost, like a bazillion dollars!

Well, maybe not a bazillion dollars. Try maybe two hundred dollars! But yeah, it would cost a bit. But still, I think it's just fun to put all Disney movies with one thing in common together as one set!

Yes it is. But I don't think I'm gonna do anymore tonight. It's alot of work, and the only artwork I would feel like doing would be slapping a "Platinum Edition" banner on top of some awesome poster to make the art. I'm tired. But I wanna stay up, it's Friday, man!
Big Disney Fan wrote: Try maybe two hundred dollars! But yeah, it would cost a bit.!
Ugh. Like that Animated Anthology set. I think it would be cheaper to buy all the LIs seperatley (which I have been doing) than to buy that set at once. It costs $400-700 to find a new, authentic copy of that set  .

You don't have to do just DVDs all day. Maybe you could try decorating the house for Christmas. Maybe trim the tree a bit!

Nah, I haven't been doing artwork all day. I had school, then I went to GameStop (to pick up my transfered copy of the LI of 101 Dalmatians!, only $10!), then I helped my mom decorate the house for Christmas! Then I came on UD about an hour ago, and now here we are! :excellent: I love how we're having 2 different convos on 2 different pages at once! BTW: We're getting our tree next weekend! :D

So yours is gonna be real then? Ours are all artificial, because it's cheaper that way! We don't have to wait as long to get the tree and they don't need to be watered so much. In fact, my tree has been prelit!
