i just ordered the Mickey Mouse tv for my daughter....I was gonna get her one for christmas so I figure this would at least save me to $100+.
I wasnt gonna use my points till near the end of the program so if something i really loved came along I could get it but since they extended the program i figure ive got time to rebuild my points collection before they close it down

Thought I'd mention that I recently watched the "Bluegrass Special" DVD I got with my Jungle Book points. I might have seen it before on the Disney Channel, but not totally sure. Anyway, it was a rather unoriginal story of a girl who wanted to be a jockey when women jockeys were just coming out and a horse with a bad reputation. Davy Jones from "The Monkees" played a jockey that was a bit of a bully to the girl, but I was surprised to find that her conflict resolving race with him was actually the big finale of the film! The actual "Bluegrass Special" race is never shown, and it really seems like it should have been, even if it would have made the film like so many other race/sports movies. The film (if you would call it that, it was just one episode of Wonderful World of Disney), had a to-be-continued feeling to it since they didn't show the "big race." Oh well, I'm a "classic Disney" completist (as in anything pre-Eisner and all animation), so I'm happy to have the DVD. It's a sweet little flick, but nothing special and feels a bit incomplete, as I said.

If I had enough points, I would easily decide on the Little Mermaid sculpture. Of course, I'm an obsessive fan of Ariel and Tink.PeterPanfan wrote:I need help deciding what to get out of these:

Besides that, I'd go for one of the DVDs or the Fox and the Hound sculpture. The DuckTales DVD is the first reward I claimed, and I was thrilled to upgrade from the VHS. I have several lithographs my aunt picked up for me at garage sales. I am happy to have them, but I'd never spend money or points on them. I really don't see the huge appeal of lithographs. They'd be nice to frame and hang when/if I have a place to do so, but I'd rather have DVDs or statuettes.
As for Reluctant Dragon, that is part of one of the Disney Treasures collection tin sets, so I already have it, otherwise I'd be saving to claim that one too. Story of Robin Hood would be a great choice after that. I definitely want to get that one. I have a huge plush collection, but I recently have cut it down somewhat. They get to be a little too much and I decided to only keep the highest quality ones, and I'd be reluctant to get any that I wasn't sure about. The 3 Musketeers plush was tempting for me at first, but I decided I really have enough plush Mickeys, unless I come across a Must Have one.

I logged in to redeem my points for JB & MTR and they had the strangest offer in my account - 200 points for MTR, expired October 22nd. And no, not the movie theatre, but the DVD. Must have been a mistake or something cause the dvd had been delayed to the 23rd. Wonder if it had been meant for when the DVD was originally going to be released in September?
Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.

There are a lot of changes to the Disney Movie Rewards website tonight, a lot of great new offers.
First on the list is the "Ratatouille Dreams Sweepstakes". When you enter your Disney Movie Rewards code for Ratatouille you are automatically entered to win one of many prizes. The grand prize is a dream vacation for 4 to Paris, France.
Secondly, there are two banners on the side, one for a Collectors Edition "Blue" Die-Cast Car as well as one for a Collectible Pin Set. The Die-Cast car is FREE when you buy Cars on Blu-Ray and enter your code. However, you have to pay $3.50 for shipping. The Collectible Pin Set is also FREE when you purchase Ratatouille AND the Pixar Short Films Collection (on DVD or Blu-Ray) and enter the codes. This item also charges $3.50 for shipping.

Let me know how you like it. I am a big Narnia fan and I thought the score to the movie was pretty good. I had my eye on that CD as well.rs_milo_whatever wrote:i claimed the narnia collectable neclace and the soundtrack almost 2 months ago, i got the necklace, but the soundtrack isn't here yet...

I am loving this program more and more and am glad they keep extending it (allthough as I've said before, they don't need to clutter up the cover art with the program logo.) But anyway, I just got a boost of points today from various ticket submissions coming through as well as buying Ratatouille, so I too sent off for the Narnia soundtrack. Hope it comes soon.
Remember, I still have a Cars standard-definition DVD code to trade if anyone is interested.
