Finally!!!!! Honestly, I was sick of seeing Cinderella in the center on every single Princess themed merchandise. Don't get me wrong, I love her, she's one of my favorites, but I don't think she's the one that should represent the franchise. Personally, I would chose Ariel.
Ariel is probably more popular than Cinderella, but Cinderella is more princessy and represents any little girl being able to be a princess, so I think Cinderella really should be the princess representer. Being a representer doesn't mean your better, it just means you stand for something. Would you really want Ariel to represent a crappy line about glitter and dressing up, two things she really hardly had/cared about as much as Cinderella? Hell, Cinderella even best represents all the heart and kindness and dream and wish aspects of the line, too. Ariel represents cooler aspects like bravery and curiousness and doing all it takes and going after your dreams (while still being kind with a good heart).

Exactly! That's why I prefer her more. And I also think she's more appealing to young girls, mainly because of what you said.
Man now it's just really awkward and bothersome and annoying that Tiana and Rapunzel don't have makeovers to match.

Who knows. It's between her and Cinderella, but if I were to bet, I would bet on Ariel being most popular. Meanwhile I prefer Cinderella's soft and dreamy qualities which I would imagine are also appealing to younger girls.

It's probably because she's recent. Did you forget her movie came out so soon?

I don't recall Tiana getting the same treatment when her movie came out.

Oh come on! Tiana so did get her moment of fame during the release of TPatF & she is on nearly all new merchandise.
All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them. - Walt Disney
Aw! Thanks, those pictures are so great and cute! The prince proposing to her in servant garb! Her bedroom looks better and more accurate to the first film's style than in the sequel, too. But if this is her wedding, it's still not accurate in having her new design be used in her wedding.
My guess is the book is "A Royal Wish", which is about Cinderella's wedding, because her new design is on that cover, but there is also "Cinderella's Dream Wedding", but I don't think it's that one because her accurate wedding design from the first film is on that cover. But that one comes out in late July and the other comes out in early September!

Sure, she was the new princess after all. I just don't recall any of it Seriously... I recall all her own merch, which had the Disney Princess logo all over it, but I can't picture her in front of the Disney Princess "Pack".
They want the Disney leading ladies to have an edge to them I guess. And probably the reason Pocahontas doesn't look edgy is because she is considered "environmental" and natural looking. Her clothes have been recycled javascript:emoticon('')
Oh, it turns out it's from "Cinderella's Dream Wedding", as Amazon.com has preview pictures of it and it's some of those same pictures. I'm dissapointed, and it makes no sense, because on the cover she has her original film design, not the design of the illustrations inside the book.
I love it!!!! It's so nice they present her in her new design, I love her hairdo, and now she doesn't look like a smug b***h like she did in previous cliparts
When I'm going on my holiday in a few weeks, I'll surely look for this one. I love it that they didn't make it pink, but BLUE!!!! It's perfect
Jugh, am I the only one who really hates these designs, it's so much sparkle, it hurts my eyes(I'm gonna put on sunglasses)...bleeegh, they really f*cked up Cinderella with her hairdo :S, what was wrong with the old one?

Even though people in the past have complained about the Disney Princess line, it never really bothered me because it meant I could more easily find merchandise for some of my favorite characters (because I do like most of the princesses). But with these new designs, I can’t say there’s anything else redeemable about the line at this point.
Listening to most often lately:
Taylor Swift ~ ~ "The Fate of Ophelia"
Taylor Swift ~ "Eldest Daughter"
Taylor Swift ~ "CANCELLED!"
This is so ridiculous! Some of the characters looks way to different than they did in their respective movies - Cinderella is unrecognizable!! Guess hollywood facelifts are no longer for living people only!
