I didn't read it, but there might be something here.

Well my thought is that either Joseph Fiennes or Stuart Townsend could be playing Fenrir Greyback!

I loved the latest movie, though I confess that I don't read the books (and I'm glad, because I think I enjoy the movies more that way). I adore Emma Watson/Hermione, and she has gotten sooooo gorgeous in this latest film. Luna Lovegood was adorable and everything about the movie was awesome, in my opinion.

I am taking a moment to admit something I've been keeping from all of you. I am kinda embarrassed to say the least but I think now that the last book is out, I should just go ahead and say it.

I am J.K. Rowling.

No actually, what it is....I JUST started reading book #1 for the first time. I've only seen the first 3 movies. I've never been that heavily interested in the books/movies like some die-hard fans are. But I've been unbelievable bored lately in search of a new obsession. I figured Harry Potter could fill that void. So I borrowed books #1-3 from my friend. By the time I am done with them, she'll be done with #7 and give me books #4-7 to read. So far, I am at Diagon Alley and love the book. I can now see where all the hype came from. For a relatively new author, J.K. Rowling deffinetly has a wonderful way with metaphoric description. "toothless walnut" had me chuckling. Stuff like that I feel truly makes a book more enjoyable. I am not quite to the point where, "OMG! HP totally rocks my socks!", but I am enjoying the book nonetheless. And reading it is inspiring to me, also as a single mom who is trying to break out into publishing with a few unfinished books under my wings. It is helping me realize that I can make it in the published author world.

Hope all goes well for you Siren with those books you have in progress.

On a semi-related Harry Potter note. My friends Dad is banning any and all Harry Potter stuff from her house, and has also told her she can't read the books anymore :o :o :o Of course I find out AFTER I buy her Harry Potter Scene It  From what she said, her Dad finds it to be blasphemous, and it goes against Christianity  in other words he's taking the Bible too far and is being really stupid about it. Of course, she's really pissed because that means she can't buy Deathly Hallows, or read it.

Well, she will just have to go to your house, assuming you have all books, and she can read them there. Unless her dad tapes a video camera to your friends head or something. I don't see how it goes against Christianity at all, and people who do are just jealous because they can't figure out the big words in the HP series, like perused (you know, JK used that word a lot in DH). Best of luck to your friend!

I agree with you that Harry Potter does not against Christianity, but what does lack of a big vocabulary bank have anything to do with Christians/Catholics against Harry Potter?

Oh, I was just playing along that her father might be a bit dumb. For his child to not read the books would be tragic and that if he wouldn't let her read them it might be because he couldn't even read them himself.

In other words, I've just decided to make the first book in the series a musical. I've yet to complete a song, but so far I know what my first two are about. The first is Dumbledore, McGonagall and Hagrid singing about "The Boy Who Lived," and the second is the Dursley's singing about "Dirty, Stupid, Ugly, Little Potter." I've also thought up a song for the Halloween sequence, but so far I really don't know what it's going to be about. I'm not sure if I should base it on the books or the movies, yet.

Naomi Watts has now officially been cast as Narcissa Malfoy as mentioned earlier in this thread.

How do you know this? A "pedia" sounds very interesting. I'm sure that there will be multiple pages on the trio, the rivals and many of the adults. Hopefully there will be the Black family tree, along with other trees (like how Harry is related to the Peveralls). If this is true, I will most definitly be purchasing it.

She confirmed it on in an interview for The Today Show that's airing next Monday (the day before her birthday, funnily enough). You can read some snippets from the interview here, which also reveals the character she meant to die in the series but later changed her mind on.

Oh, and Naomi Watts as Narcissa is freaking awesome. I'm a huge fan of hers. While it'll be odd seeing her all sneering and malicious after I've gotten used to her sweet and insecure roles, I know she'll pull it off well, especially the crying hysteria she goes into at the beginning of Half-Blood Prince.

I'm really wondering who Joseph Fiennes and Stuart Townshend are going to be. Slughorn is certainly out of the question (Bob Hoskins, please), so I'm guessing perhaps Rufus Scrimgeour and Fenrir Greyback. I have to admit neither really fit my mental image, though. I imagined Scrimgeour to sort of look like Liam Neeson, while Greyback was more of a hulking beast type. There's also the possibility they could be Marvolo and Morfin Gaunt, though they still don't fit my concept of those two, either.

I know she is just writing this for fun and for us. Hopefully people won't start thinking she is being greedy and just wants more money by writing more books because she isn't that kind of person.

If she does, she'll probably give it to the Comic Relief charity, like she did with the 2 Harry Potter school books a few years ago.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database
