Woohoo! I love when people get Legend!

(At this point I'd normally go into a long and gushy post about my love affair with that movie, which is my favorite movie ever, after The Ten Commandments of course, and is so frickin' brilliant. But, I'll spare you guys all that and just say: Get. Legend. 2-Disc. Ultimate. Edition. Now.)

My grandfather tried to open it, he sadly couldn't see very well. And the tape doesn't even work. But, I will keep the VHS nonetheless.

Nice collection Sequel! It looks similar to mine, only far less VHS's! And you also have Disney sequels...which I don't collect. :) And I'm very jealous of your Tarzan CE. :P

Oh, and I could have sworn that you had the Sleeping Beauty SE...but I don't see it in your pictures! Aurora/Briar Rose would be very sad if you don't have it! :(

Ouch! My BatB VHS has been thru alot, too! IDK what happened to the cover, but the top corner of it is all wrinkled and bent and ripped, and once, our VCR ate it (when I was little), my dad had to take the VCR apart just to get the tape out, and then he had to unscrew the VHS and untangle the black strip. The same happened to my VHS of Cinderella. Eventually when BatB came out as a Platinum Edition, I re-purchased it on VHS. I was only 11, and DVD players and DVDs were very expensive, even though my family owned one, I wanted a new copy that I could watch in my room (at the time I only had a TV and VCR in my room). Last year, I was lucky enough to find the DVD, though. :)

Nope, I don't have SB SE, even though I really want it. I'm waiting for the PE (whenever that comes), so I will have to stick with my VHS tape. But hey, the VHS has a little documentary, so I couldn't really ask for more (except for an extensive documentary/art gallery, trailers, wonderful picture and sound, and hey, add in some kiddie features).

What annoys me is that I have seen people refer to the Sleeping Beauty DVD as a Platnium Edition when in reality it was just a Special Edition. I am also getting annoyed by people talking back and forth about one collection and not talking about their own collections.

Just moved things around again in my collection this weekend. It's growing so fast and space is a constant problem. Here are my latest pics:-

Here's my (small) Disney DVD collection (sorry for the horrendous quality [ ], and I would post photos of my VHSs and figurines, but I have way too many! ) Also, I just sent in my Platinum Edition of
Beauty and the Beast to the Disc Replacement Program, so that is why it is not here.

My Disney DVD Collection (minus the live action films):

Stitch w/ my "Classic Disney" CD and 3/4 of my VHS collection (there's about 10 more down in my basement's entertainment center, because they could not fit my my "Disney VHSs" bin up in my room!):

*Will post pics of other VHSs, pins from WDW, and figurines at some later point, and an addition to my Disney DVD collection after Christmas! :D

Which still, by the way, doesn't make it anything less than a PE...

I think the main reason is because I read the topic too quickly and I immediately put TENG in my "cart", and it wasn't until a day or two later that I reread your post and noticed that there was also 2 copies of Tarzan. By that time though, both were already sold. :(

By the way, I'm still trying to convince my parents to get TENG:CE. (Yes, its been in my "cart" for a few days now.... :x ). They don't seem to understand why I would like a release with more bonus features, when "it's all about the film, not the features." *sigh*. But I think I *Might* be getting through to them, and they -may- buy it for me tonight (As a Christmas gift of course). :) *cross your fingers!!*

Anyway, Sequel, you should think about buying the *special edition* of Sleeping Beauty! (If you can find a copy that is!). I personally think that this SE is the best of all the Disney SE's to date, and definately ranks up there with the best Platinums! (Beautiful restoration, healthy serving of bonus features, and some trailers!). But considering how rare it is now-a-days, I understand why you don't have it yet.

Last but not least, my pictures will be up (probably) late next month after Christmas. (That is, if I do get TENG:CE; otherwise, they will be up before christmas). And I have POTC2, More Silly Symphonies, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas DE left to buy. ( :D ).

Got 'em crossed for ya! Just outta curiosity, how old are you? I'm 14, and my parents make a big stink everytime I wanna buy a Disney DVD (and yet they won't let me watch R-Rated movies, except a select few..ugh). Do your parents do the same (except the R-Rated movies, b/c my parents are lame).
