Bad bonus features, for the most part. A too short making of featurette, the entire movie on disc 2, as a read-a-long (which could easily be put on disc 1, as a subtitle track). The best feature was the audio commentary, and that was ported over from laserdisc.
So maybe (and I really hope that's the case) I'm wrong, and this will be a big release, with long documentaries and an audio commentary. But I still have doubts, and those doubts will only be taken away when we finally get some news about the release.
Really? werid, sounds kinda sucks altought it can't be worse then The Lion King PE.

It is certainly can be. Though The Lion King's Platium Edition is rather confusing and the bonus features are kind of all over the place, there is still a plethora of information and special features. Peter Pan, however, has a measly amount of bonus features and a very short making of featurette.

Perhaps this can be confirmed by someone tomorrow when the DVD is released.

Chaz is right. Look:
In his Hannah Montana DVD Review, Aaron Wallace wrote:The disc opens with previews for 101 Dalmatians: Platinum Edition, Enchanted, High School Musical 2, and Wish Gone Amiss. From the dedicated menu, one can also see previews for Cinderella II: Dreams Come True - Special Edition, The Aristocats: Special Edition, Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board, the Disney Channel's new "Wizards of Waverly Place", Snow Buddies, and the Disney Movie Rewards program.

That is fantastic news. Can anyone who buys this Hannah Montana DVD upload the trailer? That would be wonderful, I am dying to see it.

It's gonna appear on youtube soon, I am sure, though it is ridiculous that it was not included on the JB PE.

I agree!! This is like the first time (or maybe the second...not sure if Lion King had the trailer for Aladdin on the DVD set or not...) that the new Platinum doesn't have the trailer for the upcoming one!!!! :( But I'm still looking forward to seeing this trailer...(Then again, I'm always looking forward to the trailers and coverarts of the upcoming Platinums!) :D

As stated, hopefully it will be uploaded here on UD soon or Disney will open up the 101 Dalmatians website soon. (I have been keeping watch for when it will appear).

I'm really looking forward to the trailer. But if they think I'm going to buy the Hannah Montana DVD to see it, they can think again.

Yeah,it's just a plot to make people buy Hannah Montana DVDs,if people like Hannah Montana-only then it's worth the money.

If the trailer doesn't show up online soon, I might have to go rent the Hannah Montana DVD just to check out the trailer.

It won't be happening. Disney's already said that Sleeping Beauty will be the first Blu-Ray Platinum Edition.

Well maybe they just only confirmed Sleeping Beauty on Blu-ray, and the news site assumed that it was going to be the first release, or maybe you're right, but it would be really sad for me if I had to wait 7 or 10 years just to own it on Blu-ray !

Has anyone here purchased/rented the Hannah Montana DVD and seen the trailer? I would love to see it myself, but until I am able to, I could settle for hearing about it. :)

Has ANYONE seen this trailer yet? I'm dying to hear about it (at the least!) and screen caps would be nice... I probably would rent this Hannah Montana DVD just so I could watch the preview, but I have better things to spend money on.

There’s new material coming soon from Drew Seeley. He’s been in the studio over the last week recording a song for the re-release of 101 Dalmations!

He'll probably be covering "Cruella De Vil". I mean, unless he covers "Dalmatian Plantation". Or "Kanine Krunchies". That I'd love to hear!

Thanks, Ames! Looking forward to hearing Drew Seeley's cover of "Kanine Krunchies"! ;)

BTW, someone should e-mail tommy2.net because they misspelled dalmatians. :P
