This looks like it's going to be an amazing edition. The bonus features sound really great, and I'm really happy they decide to include Once Upon A Studio, too.

Just to add, the commercial spot specifies a 4K release will also debut March 12th.

I am looking forward to picking it up. We’ve all gone over its flaws, but there is still much to enjoy for fans of fairy tales and princess films IMO.

I hope the D-Classified featurette shows all the Easter eggs in the film. Always enjoy learning about that stuff!

Nice cover. I like that they dropped the Multi Screen Edition stuff on the covers.

I'm still not hot on the film, but I'll get the Blu anyway. I just hope that it isn't another exclusive like Strange World's was, I can't find it at Walmart anymore, just the DVD.

I see that the Steelbook is exclusive to Walmart now that Best Buy no longer sells physical media.

Unfortunately if you go to this website:
https://www.disneymovieinsiders.com/movie/wish

The only 4K edition that is listed is the Walmart steelbook, I don't see a standard edition besides the Blu-ray.

I'm okay with that, I'm still on Blu-Ray and don't currently plan to upgrade to 4K. If I do, I'll probably stick to recent releases and/or favorites and not double dip on movies I'm less into like this.

So they don’t feature Once Upon a Studio before Wish in theaters, but it’s going to be a bonus feature on the blu-ray? Are you kidding me? :|

Probably because they need to add all the incentive possible to get people to purchase this turkey 🦃

I'm tempted to get it because I'm interested in the bonus features. I really want to understand what the hell had happened behind the scenes that led to this mess of a movie (like how the Frozen II documentary was more interesting than the movie itself), but I'm not paying $130 for the 4K steelbook. I'll either get it on Blu-ray or on digital. It would be nice to have Once Upon a Studio on disc, but I'd prefer if they released it on another shorts collection.

$130 for a steel book? I don’t even recall paying that much when I got the 2009 and 2010 diamond editions of Snow White and Beauty and the Beast on Blu-ray with their respective steel books. :?

I don't live in the US. That's how much it'll cost to import it since it won't be sold on Amazon.

I mean, making only its budget back, plus $23 million, isn't good in the slightest, but it could have done much, much worse than it did.

True. I was curious enough to listen to the songs on YouTube a few days ago. None of them was particularly memorable. This Is The Thanks I Get reminds me of You're Welcome from Moana.

Did Wish made any of you appreciate Disney's not so well received films in the past like Pocahontas, Atlantis and Home on the Range?

No, because I already enjoy all those movies to varying degrees, regardless of their problems, and none of them have structural, plot-breaking issues like Wish does. Even Chicken Little, a movie I loathe, is structurally solid.

So Magnifico originally physically consumed wishes? He ate them? What a wonderful, strange detail. It’s reminiscent of all the fairy tale villains who are cannibals (the evil queen in Snow White, the witch in Hansel and Gretel, the prince’s mother in Sleeping Beauty, etc).
