I know she’s featured on the mat frame next to the logo, but I’d be shocked if one of Disney’s mascots wasn’t included in the group pic. And she’s obviously in the short since she’s featured prominently in the trailer.

I see a little yellow dot between Pluto and Jacques and Gus… is that supposed to be Tink?
I also wondered who that little dot could be. It looks a bit small to me to be Tinker Bell, but perhaps it is her. Another possibility is that she was deleted from the picture, so she doesn't appear twice in this lithograph. I'm sure she'll be in the actual group photo in the short, though.

I don't know if this was already posted, but even though they reused some of the original audio for some of the old characters, some of them are voiced by sound alikes. Alan Tudyk, for example, voices the Mad Hatter.
Some of the folks have passed on, so they got the best sound alikes that they possibly could, and were very persnickety about making them sound right. You only get seconds with each character, so they needed to look and sound exactly how you remember them.

There were some characters where the voices were pulled for the original content. For example, they wanted Bobby Driscoll as Peter Pan so they pulled the line they wanted from Peter Pan and isolated it.

The same was done for Jiminy Cricket because the filmmakers did not want to settle for anyone other than Cliff Edwards for Jiminy Cricket. So they had to strip away the music from his original recording digitally.

Early on, the filmmakers sent out a request form to studio employees asking them who they would like to see in the short. They admit there were multiple requests to have all of Alan Tudyk’s characters that he voices in a room together. This ultimately did not happen, as he only voices one character in the short — the Mad Hatter.

I'm loving seeing Disney characters of different films interacting with one another. It's something I wish there was more space for in the Disney landscape.

Oh I should mention here something really important.

I spoke with Dan Abraham, one of the two directors of Once Upon A Studio, and he told me that Once Upon A Studio will still get a theatrical release, but not with Wish.

He told me it would debut in front of the 2-week theatrical engagement of Moana, which is the last of Disney’s movies they’re showing in 100 theaters nationwide for the 100th Anniversary of Disney.

Having seen the short on the big screen in front of the #Disney100 re-release of Moana, that was the best story of Disney’s they’ve released in the year of their 100th Anniversary.

I know it’s not a high bar to clear for some.

But this made me genuinely emotional.

And one moment involving my favorite Disney character, Winnie the Pooh, almost made me shed a tear.

I won’t say what.

But I can’t wait for you all to see it on ABC tomorrow night.

I'm glad you were able to see it on the big screen and liked it. I'm curious what my reaction will be and what all the animation will look like.

I'm not crying, you're crying. I started crying at Mickey talking to Walt's photo, and the tears kept flowing. I'll definitely want to watch it being able to pause it. I squealed at so many characters. I loved it.

Well that was fun. I had to deal with some buffering issues since I was watching online and not something I could rewind, but I'll catch it on disney plus or whatever later in full.

Yea, there was some off modelness, but wow, lots of hand drawn animation in this for sure.

the human acting at the start was cringe, but thats just a minor thing.

I thought Jeremy Irons was in this, I don't remember hearing him.

Do we know who voiced Prince Charming?? I’m really hoping it was CD Barnes. Wikipedia lists him but not IMDb and neither of them are really reliable sources.

But I loved it! What a great memento to celebrate the Disney legacy.

I loved to hear Belle, Pocahontas, and Ariel open “When You Wish Upon a Star.” But I don’t think I can ever forgive Scuttle for cutting in lol.

Just saw a clip of the voice actors from the short, but they didn’t show everyone and they didn’t show who voiced Prince Charming. I was surprised Cogsworth had a new voice actor, I assumed his line was an archival recording from David Ogden Stiers— missed opportunity considering how frequently he acted with the company.
I thought Jeremy Irons was in this, I don't remember hearing him.
Scar appears and says “I’m surrounded by idiots” after Ralph walks into a door.

I felt the tears coming then!! And to hear “Feed the Birds” during that part……. :( :( :(

Also the fact that the penguin waiter was carrying the Lady and the Tramp spaghetti!!! Lol
