I can't find the place where I read people saying she was bad, but I remember one of the things was her jokes, or most of them, "fell flat". In her "Moments in the Woods" that I found a clip of, I can see that she just doesn't have much of a powerful, direct performance. But she wasn't horrible to me.
Oh gosh really ?! I always think Amy is fabulous is anything she does, didn't realise she wasn't that great in this role; will have to have a look. I did wonder as she's already played the part and has a history with Disney, I thought she would have been a too choice for the role.

I just saw her "Moments in the Woods" on Youtube and there was nothing wrong there, in my opinion. There isn't an actress (or a person, for that matter) in the world I adore more than Emily Blunt, but I'm not expecting her to be more comfortable in a musical than Amy Adams.

I feel Amy Adams is more sweet while Emily Blunt is more wry and direct and "punching" and thus would be better for the role (I only assume).

I assume Amy Adams had scheduling conflicts with Big Eyes, the new Tim Burton movie also opening this Christmas. She's been insanely busy lately (last year alone, she was in a major blockbuster and two Best Picture nominees) and it's possible Disney asked her, but she couldn't fit it in. But Emily Blunt is a very talented actress and I think she will do a great job in the role.

Or perhaps she didn't want to play her again. There's that too...

To be honest, I think they are just as fabulous as each other ! I'd be excited to see either in the role.

They're refilming something. Click here. Well, this doesn't necessarily mean the film will be bad. I'm not worried, but I wonder what needed tinkering. Emily Blunt is filming 'Sicario' in Albuquerque right now, by the way. So, she won't be there.

The good news is it can't be the Baker's Wife and Cinderella's Prince scene, and maybe it could be a Rapunzel dying scene. The bad news is it could be some scenes Disney wants to change to make it even less adult and meaningful, will it meld with with the other already shot scenes, and how will they have it all ready for the film's release? I wish it was a re-shoot of Cinderella's wedding with her in a better dress, lol. Actually make that her and Rapunzel and Jack's Mother in better clothes and the stepsisters and female onlookers in full skirts.

Whatever it is, it will take a month to refilm.
