I at least am listening to both sides of this election. I'm just not a stone-wall that won't listen to both sides. And, I can see what this current President has done and hasn't done for our country.

Once again, I will ask you to tell what four things President ObamMao has done in the past four years that affected you directly. Apparently no one can answer this which answers that question.

If you vote for the current "ruler" (he is not a leader that is for sure) you will be signing the death warrant for your kids and the future of this great country.

I can't afford to have my Tax Return go strictly to Obamacare. I can't afford to lose my Health Insurance, and I don't want you or anyone else to have to pay my way for the next years I have to live.

Obama has made it clear he doesn't care for anyone over 50, and if had his way, we would all be put in assisted living homes and slowly die on our own. If you don't believe that get yourself a copy of Obamacare or the National Health Reform Act and read it, even the small print.

And those of you in school right now, will not be able to get a job after graduation if Obamacare goes into force in 2014. Good luck with that expensive education.

And I also don't take things out of context that most of you did when Gov. Romney said he would pull support from PBS. What he said was that the excessive funds that Obama is 'hiding' in places like PBS would be stopped . He said nothing about killing off PBS, anyone who even watches Public Television knows about how they raise their funds to keep operating. It is all through donations. And Romney in no way said "I will kill Big Bird".

And no one has responded to the latest $1 Trillion dollar tax that Obama is going to lay on the middle class. He already publicly admitted that he has that tax plan that will "jump-start" his job and training bills. That's a bunch of puppy-doo-doo.

I also find it very unbelievable that any of you have even looked, much less read, any of the posts I have contributed in the last few days.

I know that I am your favorite punching bag, but I just take it as you haven't been taught to respect your elders. You don't think we know anything because you relate old-age to being stupid or uneducated. I graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1960 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Education.

I only hope that when the smoke clears and the Electoral College has cast their votes, we have a Republican President in office, you will all, one by one, apologize to me for trying to show you how wrong you were. Also he's missing the point what's good about this new healthcare. What great about it is that, the insurance company can not deny any one insurance. In other words, let's say you have cancer or so, something that require immense amount of money and time, under the new healthcare, the insurance companies can't deny coverage to people with pre-existing conditions.

If you haven't notice, we're the only first world country that don't have a reform national healthcare. it's about time we need it.

The privileges for this healthcare very helpful. The only thing that people are bitching about is the individual mandate that all individuals not covered by an employer sponsored health plan, Medicaid, Medicare or other public insurance programs, purchase and comply with an approved private insurance policy or pay a penalty, unless the applicable individual is a member of a recognized religious sect exempted by the Internal Revenue Service, or waived in cases of financial hardship.

but if you are insured, then you have nothing worry about.

In 2014, if ObaMao is re-elected, all of your current insurance will be void and you will have to find another insurance company that will accept you with pre-existing conditions and that will be the most expensive of the insurances out there. We are getting close to a day that will decide whether we are the greatest country in the world or just another country with a despot for a President. That being said, I like this quote from the files of YouTube.

There's no such thing as "the greatest country in the world" and even *IF*, it wouldn't be the US. The fact alone, that the US violates basic human rights or its rudimental welfare system speaks volumes. With Obamacare, there is at least some kind of progress in a system, that is clearly underdeveloped.
In Germany we have for 130 years a better health insurance system, than the modern US society (even in the Third Reich- which is kind of ironic, of course)!

Obama will achieve gun control through executive order, essentially eliminating your right to own a private hand gun.

In the long run, the health insurance plan is a good thing. Also I'm on my parents health insurance until I'm 26 no questions asked. Right now I'm on disability, but if I went and tried to go get another insurance from somewhere, I wouldn't get any medical treatment for a year due to I have a huge baggage of Preexisting Conditions, which if not treated, I could die.

You all say I haven't listed the four things that cost Obama his vote from me, well then here they are:

1. After ObaMao took office we suffered one of the largest economy downfalls in the past 20 years and I personally lost over $100,000 in my 401k plans that were going to help support me in my retirement. (I now have to try to exist on just Social Security and it doesn't quite make it.)

2. ObaMao's economy start-up stimulus plan cost me my job of over eight years. It also has prevented employers from even considering me for employment because ObaMao has placed such high restrictions on training for new hires.

3. ObaMao's spend, spend, spend, without even consulting his Congress or House has cost us over $5 Trillion dollars, and now he wants to spend another $2 billion in NEW stimulus plans that will cost us taxpayers a whole bunch of money.

4. ObaMao's National Health Plan will end up costing millions their jobs, a lot of insurance companies will go out of business, and over 10 million Senior Citizens will be left without affordable health insurance. He says that is not the case, but if you read about it, you will find out that I am correct on that.

There is the four things that I, as a registered Democrat for over 50 years, will not vote for the Democratic candidate this year. And if you are at least concerned about your own private well-being you will do well to look into the policies that ObaMao wants to put in place after re-election. And why is no one concerned about the new $1 Trillion tax that Biden and ObaMao are touting for 2013. Our National Debt has never been this unstable in recent history, and that is one thing that can't be pushed off on "Bush did it!"

Just because Scamander isn't American doesn't mean his opinions are bogus. I haven't participated in this thread yet (well ... until now) since I know almost nothing of American politics and, hence, have nothing worthwhile to say. However, had I been up to date on the situation I certainly would have made my voice heard regarding this Obama vs. Romney argument, if need be.

The eyes of the world are currently on the state of the U.S. It's only natural foreigners will want to weigh in with their opinion.

If you are madly devoted to either side, you have been tricked into playing their game. The Dems seem less evil than most Republicans, I'll admit, but really they are all being bought off.
