Britney Prepares for X-Factor

Britney Spears is promising her raunchiest performance yet when she appears on The X Factor.
She has been rehearsing for the ITV1 show and intends to wow the audience with a sexually- charged performance of her next single, Womanizer, which topped the US singles chart last week.
X Factor choreographer Brian Friedman told the Mirror: “Britney is at the best she has ever been.
“She will perform Womanizer on the show and it will be the raunchiest performance X Factor has seen. She’s back on top of her game.”
The 26-year-old US singer’s performance next month will be her first UK visit since her tour more than four years ago.

Woop woop! Can't wait to see her perform! No doubt she'll be on fire!

Brit to host SNL?

Spreading her comeback across the board, it looks as though Britney Spears will revisit a touchstone in her career: hosting Saturday Night Live.
A source tells Celebuzz that on Saturday, November 22, Spears will have her third go at hosting the sketch show.
Eight years ago, at 18 years old, Britney became the youngest person in history to both host and perform on the same episode.
Spears returned to play ringmaster to Saturday Night in 2002.
The cast of repertory players currently includes Andy Samberg, new mother Amy Poehler and Kristen Wiig.
None of them will be in quite so physically toned as Britney.

I LOVE when Britney is on SNL. My 2 favorite sketches of hers:

Some posters on the website that I got the info from are saying that NBC has said that Britney won't be on the Nov. 22 episode of SNL...we shall see, I guess. Maybe she'll be on some other time soon?

Hmm, can't say I'm a big fan of the cover. And the bonus track is Radar? As in from Blackout? That's odd.

lol, thanks, Ryan!

"If U Seek Amy" and "Mmm Papi" make me curious...I'm okay with the other titles (but confused about "Radar", unless it's a remix)...Who's Amy (besides me, lol), and why is Britney singing about her? "Mmm Papi" sounds like it could be a "Get Naked" part 2 or something...

I downloaded the songs from "Blackout", and I'm thinking that I might get the physical CD...since the majority of it has grown on me.

It's so interesting to think of Britney when "Blackout" came out versus now. It makes me really proud of her.

Mmm Papi is about Adnan, which kind of scares me. Haha.

"If U Seek Amy" is a strange song title...I wonder...

I'm confused about Radar also. You're probably right, it has to be a remix or something. Why would she put it on 2 of her CDs?

It does sound like a "Get Naked" part 2 or EVEN an "Ooh Ooh Baby" part 2.

Yes, I loved Blackout. I thought it was one of the greatest albums of 2007!

"Mmm Papi" is just rumored to be about Adnan. I highly doubt it's true, considering she usually doesn't write her own songs.

From what it seems, "Radar" will be the exact same track from Blackout. I find this strange, maybe Britney really wants this to be a single? Because it was supposed to be the fourth single from Blackout, but it was shelved because she was recording this album. Maybe it'll be the next single after "Circus"?

This may just be a rumor, but:

http://community.livejournal.com/ohnoth ... 69173.html

Britney Spears is reportedly set to follow in the footsteps of Prince and Kylie Minogue by playing a two-week residency at London's O2 Arena next year.

The Gimmie More hitmaker is preparing for a mammoth world tour in 2009 on the back of her forthcoming album, Circus, which is released in December.

And now, according to British newspaper The Sun, Spears has negotiated a deal with the London venue which will see her show based there for 14 nights.

Artists including Prince, Kylie Minogue and the Spice Girls have all completed a residency at the arena. The live shows will be Spears' first gigs in the U.K. since 2004's Onyx Hotel Tour.

According to JIVE Records via MTV.com, the "Radar" track appearing on Circus is "the same song, but it might be a different mix."
