Gale looked so good!

I can't wait until we find out how our women got that way ... maybe the season premiere will have some short flashbacks as to how each housewife got to where they were in those final few moments in the finale ...

I am glad Katherine is still on the lane ... and I LOVED how the women all lied to save Katherine ...

I do like the resolution of the mystery ... It all made sense ... and it was sooooooooooooooo suspenseful!

YAY! Bree & Orson are back together ... guess he went to jail in those five years ... and Andrew looked so spiffy ...

Wow. Oh my gosh... :o

Katharine: Does anyone else agree that she looked better five years ahead? I'm so happy everything turned out well for her, and for Dylan.

Gaby: Poor Gaby! Is Carlos still there?

Bree: Wow...and I'm so happy for her and Orson!

Lynette: !!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT DID SHE DO TO HER HAIR???! And I can't wait to see what her kids look like!

Susan: :jawdrop:

I wonder what happened to Kayla!

I missed last weekend's episode, so what happened to Edie?

Kayla left to her grandparent's home in the first hour of the finale ... hopefully she will stay there the rest of her life LOL ...

Last week the women confronted Edie ... She was planning on blackmailing Bree with the information on Benjamin's paternity ... Bree told her friends and they all went to casa Britt to let Edie know that she had gone too far ... and that Edie would be invisible to them from now on ...

At the end of the episode we saw Edie call Travers and let him know she was coming for an extended visit ...

That's the last we saw of her ...

But ... Nicollette is still with the show ... She is said to return in the new season ... and just like the other ladies ... she will have had changes in her life ... I am guessing (and this is just a guess) ... that she's going to come back to the lane a married woman ...

I know about Kayla, I meant I wondered what happend to her in the five year leap.

I also hope Edie comes back a changed woman.. mainly with her personality...

Why did the real Dylan die? Was she just sick? And why couldn't we see her body..?

The night Wayne came over ... after Mary Alice (YAY! She was in the flashback ... She's so beautiful) babysat Dylan ... Katherine went to stand up to him ... She put the doll that Wayne had brought Dylan at the top of a curio cabinet-type piece of furniture ...

It appears Dylan died when she climbed the curio to get the doll and it crashed on top of her ... That's how the crack in the wood floor was made ... and Katherine along with her aunt buried her in the woods ...

Katherine adopted a Romanian orphan that looked a lot like Dylan ...

The real Dylan died because she apparently tried to climb that huge shelf to get her doll!

I agree, RTD! Gale Harold looked VERY good! As did Andrew! He's quite the hottie!

I was so happy that the women banded together, and lied to the police to protect Katherine. That brought a tear to my eye. I'm glad to see she's still there, five years later.

However, FIVE FREAKING YEARS! I don't like it. Especially since the Scavo boys have become felons, apparently. Gabby having two children, and apparently packing on the pounds. What happened to Mike? Did he and Susan get a divorce? Did he die?

I mean, what in the world has happened?!

Okay, so that was the best season finale of the year!!!!!!

The five year jump is here to stay.

OMG! That was so good, I almost died when I saw what had happened to Gabby (I WANT SHALLOW BACK) and the Susan part made me want to kill her after all the drama they put me through to get them together and now they aren't :x

BUT One Tree Hill did the 5 year jump so it's not really original. I hope there is a twist or something that send it back at the end of the season.

I don't know how though because this isn't LOST so no supernatural :?

Not too many people are happy... the fastforward helped save ONE TREE HILL but it might bring down DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES.

Well, not to be a downer, but I was pretty disappointed with the finale. The post-strike episodes have all been lackluster, and these two were no exception. The only interesting storyline has been Lynette’s, which was tied up way too simply. And Katherine’s mystery wasn’t much of a mystery at all. Disappointing.

As for the five year jump, I don’t mind it. Lynette's situation is exactly what I would've expected and Susan looks as boring as she ever did. The thing I do mind is the changes in Gabby and Bree. I don’t care if Gabby had 10 children, she’d never get “plump.” And Bree just didn’t look like herself, which is not a good thing. Also, Gale Harold’s hair was strange and I can’t see any chemistry between him and Teri Hatcher. It’s Ian and Victor all over again.

On a side note, does anybody find it strange that Bree faces murder in nearly every season finale?

I agree with you, I feel it was hyped up so much and it wasn't really juicy at all. It felt like I had seen it before.

And Bree just didn’t look like herself
I know, she looked like she was wearing a costume not like a business woman.
Gale Harold’s hair was strange and I can’t see any chemistry between him and Teri Hatcher.
He looked so out of place and I don't know why everyone is saying he is hot.

So, I was carefully watching the last 2 minutes on the abc.com website, and some of the ladies are married in 5 years, and others aren't.

Bree, Gabby, and Lynette are the only ones with wedding rings on.

Kathrine isn't wearing one, but when she was hugging Dylan 5 years earlier (after Wayne was shot), she clearly had a wedding ring. So, this must mean in the 5 years that has passed, Katherine and Adam must have divorced or something.

Susan isn't wearing a ring at all, which means either she and Mike are separated, divorced, or he died. But, she is wearing a huge ring on the index finger on her right hand.

Also, Disney's Divinity, I got your PM, but I'm not allowed to send PMs on here, so if you could please PM me your email address, I could answer your question. Thanks![/b]
