No it didn't but I wish it would. I always liked that show. In fact, I (like a lot of other people did in 1999, as I understand it) made sure to watch the very first episode the night it debuted on MTV and I, like every single other person who tuned in, was absolutely shocked at what I saw. Which is - every person who tuned in expected it to either suck (which, if you ask the right person, they'll tell you it didn't) or actually show full-nudity or nudity where you'd at least get those Transparent scramble-type boxes that would blur-out nipples and pubic hair (which would have been completely pointless). No one expected it to be a heart-felt, mature, interesting, well-written, and beautiful show.numba1lostboy wrote:Did that get released to DVD? For it's type (production costs and all that - I'm positive the cast was the most expensive thing because each episode had a huge cast), it really was sort of ahead of it's time. Anyone who, for instance, wasn't happy that Will & Grace would consummate a gay relationship (I hope you're paying attention, you know who you are) - just needed to check this show out. Over the course of every season, we got to see every kind of relationship and there were many gay-focused storylines. Which is of course one of the reasons I say it was ahead of it's time. It wasn't sleazy without caring about it's characters. And very few people were treated like complete stereotypes either.
I wish it would come out on DVD (it's one of the TV shows in my TVshowsonDVD.com list, so I'll know if anything comes out) but I guess this is one of those shows that there isn't much demand for.
