Oh Doctor Beeching! - Series 2 R2 UK
Bliss, pure bliss. Nothing too flashy but I love this show! Who would've thought life at a small train station could be so exciting!

Image
Red Dwarf III R2 UK
I have to be honest, I was disappointed. The first two series were the ones I was watched repeatedly when I was younger and this just seemed to have something missing.

Victoria Wood with All the Trimmings R2 UK
An hour special from 2000, great stuff. Full of more celebrity cameos than you could shake a stick at! And there's a parody of ER set in a WI! :D

From Amazon UK/US:
Image
Desperate Housewives: Series 2 (R2)
Up for preorder, using UD's link of support, of course! Looking forward to seeing this!

Image
The Little Mermaid: Special Edition (R2)
The feature I've been anticipating for nearly 2 years! Hooray! :D And once again, through UD's link of support.

Image
Lost: The Complete Second Season (R1)
Yes, I'm an addict. I cancelled my orders for both Bug's Life: CE and Xena - Season 6, Part II for this. :D

And through a personal contact:
Image
Buffy the Vampire Slayer - The Complete First Season (R1)
My latest TV show blind-buy (the first being Smallville). Hopefully it's as good as they say it is!

And..... I'm done! I've spent too much as is! :P

Using my Best Buy Reward Zone card and still getting one point for every penny I spend I picked up The Classic Sci-Fi Ultimate Collection from Universal Studios. It has five films from the 50's on three discs with great artwork. All but one of the films is full frame 1.33:1 and the fifth one is 1.78:1. Featured films are: The Mole People, The Monolith Monsters, Monster on the Campus, Tarantula, and The Incredible Shrinking Man. All available on DVD for the very first time. It is a Best Buy exclusive, only available at Best Buy and on sale this week for $16.99, regular MSRP is $24.99.

Grease: Rockin Rydell Edition (T-Birds Cover)

Grease 2

I was thinking of buying it again with the Pink Ladies cover and using it for Grease 2 and just give my extra copy of Grease to a friend. Not sure yet...

Are You Being Served?: Complete Series 5 R2 UK
Definitely at the top of its game here, brilliant stuff!

Image
Red dwarf IV R2 UK
An improvement over Series 3, but I feel still weak on the whole.

An Audience With Victoria Wood: Special Edition R2 UK
That's right, special edition! Bizarre! Probably the best thing she's ever done, I haven't laughed like this for a long time. Still funny 18 years later!

Image
Victoria Wood - Live At The Albert Hall R2 UK
I'll be honest, it's disappointing. Not at her best here.

The Boris Karloff Collection R1 NTSC
Night Key (not a horror film, so much for being "his most frightening roles"), Tower of London (yay!), The Climax (yay, in colour!), The Strange Door (never heard of this one) and The Black Castle (yay!).

Image
Confetti R2 PAL
An improvised comedy in the style of Best in Show etc. But, it must be said, not as good. Still, it is a virtual who's who of British comedy (some of whom you see a lot more than ever before *cough*Robert Webb*cough*Olivia Coleman*cough* If you get my drift). The extra features are unused scenes and in effect make a whole new movie.

Image
Brick R2 PAL
We get a 2 disc set with lots of UK exclusive features. I have heard good things about this, and need to settle down and watch it, uninterrupted.

Star Wars: Original Trilogy Discs R1 NTSC
I only went for the R1 discs because all my other Star Wars discs are. Now, I'll never have to watch the Special Editions ever again!

Image
Doctor Who Series 2 Vol 5 R2 PAL
Cybermen, Daleks, Pete Tyler, the Fall of Torchwood, Rose being seperated from the Doctor, the introduction of the Bride! This only arrived today, and already I've transferred the episodes to my Zen MP3/Video player!

Image
Scooby-Doo! Pirates Ahoy R1 NTSC
Who needs Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom or anyone else? Give me a cartoon great dane and his hippy master anyday. Scooby-Dooby-Doo!
