Using my Best Buy Reward Zone card and still getting one point for every penny I spend I picked up The Classic Sci-Fi Ultimate Collection from Universal Studios. It has five films from the 50's on three discs with great artwork. All but one of the films is full frame 1.33:1 and the fifth one is 1.78:1. Featured films are: The Mole People, The Monolith Monsters, Monster on the Campus, Tarantula, and The Incredible Shrinking Man. All available on DVD for the very first time. It is a Best Buy exclusive, only available at Best Buy and on sale this week for $16.99, regular MSRP is $24.99.

Night Key (not a horror film, so much for being "his most frightening roles"), Tower of London (yay!), The Climax (yay, in colour!), The Strange Door (never heard of this one) and The Black Castle (yay!).


Confetti R2 PAL
An improvised comedy in the style of Best in Show etc. But, it must be said, not as good. Still, it is a virtual who's who of British comedy (some of whom you see a lot more than ever before *cough*Robert Webb*cough*Olivia Coleman*cough* If you get my drift). The extra features are unused scenes and in effect make a whole new movie.


Brick R2 PAL
We get a 2 disc set with lots of UK exclusive features. I have heard good things about this, and need to settle down and watch it, uninterrupted.


Star Wars: Original Trilogy Discs R1 NTSC
I only went for the R1 discs because all my other Star Wars discs are. Now, I'll never have to watch the Special Editions ever again!


Doctor Who Series 2 Vol 5 R2 PAL
Cybermen, Daleks, Pete Tyler, the Fall of Torchwood, Rose being seperated from the Doctor, the introduction of the Bride! This only arrived today, and already I've transferred the episodes to my Zen MP3/Video player!
