Interesting posters. I like the bottom one because it gives it a retro feel.

Pictures from Disney's Enchanted

Thank you for those, Ariel'sprince! Tinker Bell could just be there because she's a famous popular icon for everything Disney, or maybe Disney really will put Disney characters in this, which I don't think they should do but I guess it would be okay. Were you able to see the first three posters?
numba1lostboy wrote:The last poster seems to have a particular emphasis on her shoe...any notions about this?
Yea, I did notice this. And now the one poster Ariel'sprince gave us has Tinker Bell on that same shoe, so there must be something up with it! It also looks like it is made of glass! Is it a glass slipper?

you're wellcome :D.
when i couldn't see the poster here i searched in google and found the posters with the other posters and then they worked here.
i know tinkerbell is a disney icon but it just that it is a princess film.
about the shoe-i notice that she's making homaje for snow white (she said something about seven Dwarfs in the disney chanle thing, acrroding to the jim hill's artical she mistake someone as grummpy and she's also clan robert's house with rats, bugs and pigeons like whistle while you work from snow white) so meybe the shoe thing is homaje cinderella and we will soon see homaje for aurora? and i think that it will be werid if they put other disney chacters.

Thanks so much for the new posters! Obviously, they are just mock ups, arnt they? Just ideas for what teh posters might be, and then they will have actual photos etc on the final versions?

If you look closely at her shoe in the 'Cinderella' poster, it even has the heart on it, just like Cinderella's did; its Cidnerella's actual shoe! ! ! In Cindy's own words, "She STOLE it?!"

Announcer: Coming soon to own on Disney DVD and video, Cinderella 4!

When Giselle steals Cinderella's most prised position, her glass slipper, it's up to our courageous heroine and her lovable animal friends to save the day. They can, if Drizella's new love interest doesn't get in the way!

Yea atlanticaunderthesea, you don'thave to worry, you're absolutely right, they're mock-ups.

I really hope that isn't the same as Cinderella's shoe. I don't know how to explain this, but I think it could just be the outline of her foot seen through the slipper, because no where else do any of her shoes have hearts...

anyone think that there's going to be some walkarounds of giselle or queen narissa in their live action state?
could be. that'd be really cool. they look really cool too.
ESPECIALLY (in my opinion) queen narissa.

I think people are making too big a deal of the glass slipper. It deffinatley appears to be the glass slipper and that deffinatley looks like a heart on it. However, this poster also features other Disney animated characters. I don't think the slipper is so much a crucial part of the story, but just a in-joke on the poster. That poster features references to lots of Disney films. I think that is all it is: a reference to Cinderella. Notice how her other show doesn't appear to be shiny?

numba1lostboy wrote:Could the second doll be Idina Menzel? It doesn't look anything like the Giselle doll above it, and why would real Giselle look different from animated Giselle?
if you look behind the doll the words "fair-" is written...yeah I believe it's Idina's character....who might be a fairy god mother of sorts to Giselle

and as for the posters, i actually like them all. I kinda wish they'd make a set of posters that pay homage to the princess movies.

*The Snow White one with the mirror
*The Cinderella one with the glass slipper
*a Sleeping Beauty one with her sleeping and Patrick Dempsey leaning down to kiss her
*a Little Mermaid homage that recreates the old VHS cover.
*a Beauty and the Beast homage of Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey dancing in a ballroom while cockroaches and rats and pidgeons adorn the borders looking all happy and supporting character-like

Nice article. It doesn't reveal anything new to us, but still nice to read that everybody is feeling good about the return of 2D animation. The pictures that were included are pretty nice, but still I think the characters look a tad DTV-ish. But not much, so I think it actually improved over what we saw some months ago in that little clip. The backgrounds look absolutely lovely and much more like a painting done by Claude Monet.

The only thing I don't like is the prince. On the picture of him and Giselle on the horse he is stunningly ugly. And Giselle's nose is a bit too pointy. I know this sounds ridiculous, but the her pointy nose caught my eye. On the little picture though she does look fantastic!

agreed, but a still frame from a traditional movie easily catches characters off model. CGI is always on-model.

It's tough to judge untill we see some stuff in motion.

It's funny you say that, because I was going to say (and will say) that the prince is pretty cute. I mean, for an animated prince, of course.
