Cool reivews thanks Luke I found the Johnny Tremain most informative. This is actually one of my favorite live actions movies. I am not sure why but it is. And I am especially pleased about the bonus features sounds good. I never would have thought about picking it up if it wasnt for this review
.

Been meaning to post here - Indeed, all great reviews, Luke. (I'll let "flawed... Pete's Dragon" slide
). Poor The Boatniks
I actually want to see it now just to see how unbearable it is. The World's Greatest Athlete sounds good, but you've got me really wanting to see Toby Tyler and especially Johnny Tremaine.

Thanks for the feedback, gang! Here's my latest review and it took more than 10 hours to view and even more than that to write. Thankfully, it was a fun time, particularly the viewing part of it.

That was a great review and I was greatly looking forward to it!
I was a little disappointed about how they edited some of the episodes
I was also disappointed to hear there's no Jim Henson retrospective on it. I remember hearing about that a long time ago and was looking forward to it.
Oh well, I'm still glad I have the set pre-ordered, I can't wait till it gets here!
Thanks again for the awesome review

But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

Wow Luke that was a great review. I never got to the Muppet Show on TV since it is a bit before my time, but I have seen bits and pieces and I really enjoyed it. I am not sure if this will be on my immediate go buy now list or on the back burner for a bit. Either way thanks for the review and the awsome pictures.
Luke.

Woohoo! UD is at 300 DVD reviews! Great jobs on #299 and #300. Bride & Prejudice hadn't exactly appealed to me to begin with, but I'm especially not interested now.
The Oz review more or less sums up my feelings about it too. It's depressing- because there was potential here that could have produced very positive reviews, but the movie, while sometimes enjoyable, missed its mark. You do a great job of pointing out just how it misses, Luke. Even though I got the DVD (because a- it's the Muppets, b- it's at least re-watchable, and c- there's a rebate), I'm disheartened to see the bonus features and extended footage apparently don't add much value.
In reading both reviews, it's interesting that the two movies shared many of the same faults that made them fall short of what was a lot of potential. A big one of those: Ashanti. I don't know why Disney has become seemingly obsessed with Ashanti and Tarantino, but those are two obsessions that I hope to see them lose pronto. For all its other weaknesses, the Muppets' Oz movie could have been significantly improved simply by casting someone who can actually act. At least her total failure in this movie might prove the point that there is a difference between singer (Ashanti, although I don't even think she's all that talented in this department) and singer-actress (Hilary Duff, who is actually talented in both areas).

Hey guys. Wow it's been a while since I've posted here, and I just read the latest two reviews to be written. Congratulations everyone on making it to 300, and I' thoroughly enjoyed those two, plus during the week I found time to read the one I was waiting for, The Muppet Show-Season 1! I really appreciated that review Luke, considering that it took you +10 hours to review. I love the screencaps that you put on them!
Anyway, congrats on 300, and I'll be sure to read some of the ones that I haven't had time to read, in the very near future. Bye!

Great Review Luke!!!!
But I'm not getting Timeless Tales: Volume One or Volume 2 since I already own all the Walt Disney Treasures. No need to double dip.

That's all right Luke. BTW, JP Manoux, who is in Phil of the Future as Curtis, will be voicing Kuzco in the upcoming Disney Channel Orignal Series, The Emperor's New Skool. I just noticed he was in Phil, when I read your wonderful review Luke. Looking forward to reading the one I've been waiting for, That's So Raven!

Thanks for reading my review, Aaron! I feel like I spent way too little time and effort on it, but it's nice to know that you were able to appreciate it to some extent. I am looking forward to reading all the reviews on your slate!
