Of what I read, those are just the accidents at Disneyland. I don't mean to be picky, but I'm a little curious in any deaths that occurred at Disney World or in Paris, Tokyo and Hong Kong.Sunset Girl wrote:Chaychay, an article about deaths at the Disney parks can be seen here.

My heart goes out to the family of that little boy.

Sorry, that's the only reference I know if. There is a teeny bit more info here (since it's about urban legends some statements are true and some aren't).

Regardless, there's some interesting stuff to be found about Disney in general at http://www.snopes.com.

Oh man, that's terrible. 4 years old. It shouldn't be possible to die that young.
Can you imagine what it's like for the family right now? I don't even want to imagine that kind of pain. R.I.P. The ride's back open already? That seems pretty careless, not to mention disrespectful for the family of the boy that died.

I wonder if the outcome of this tragic incident will turn out similar to this one (also of a four-year-old): http://www.snopes.com/disney/parks/bodywars.htm

It might be like that. Wasn't Body Wars closed? I don't remember that ride (or the one that supposed caused this death)at all.Sunset Girl wrote:I wonder if the outcome of this tragic incident will turn out similar to this one (also of a four-year-old): http://www.snopes.com/disney/parks/bodywars.htm

See, I think that would have been the smartest choice. Find out exactly what killed him before letting other people in.Sunset Girl wrote:I'm sure that the powers that be had a difficult decision to make when they re-opened the ride, but I wonder if it would have been wise to wait until the results of the autopsy had been announced before making any decision.

Here's another link:

It basically tells the story again, and the only part that I found interesting was the last paragraph which partially answered my question about other deaths in Disney World.

I don't see how anyone can pass out and die. He probably was sick!

Something that angers me about some of these deaths (not this one or any accidental deaths)is that they could have been prevented. People have been careless, stupid, drunk... I mean, why would someone want to stand up on Splash Mountain?
The careless behavior leads to tragedy and oftentimes gives the attraction and Disney a bad name.

I agree! That Roger Rabbit accident is my favorite because it was the mother's fault her boy got crushed and she blames Disney!chaychay102royal wrote:Something that angers me about some of these deaths (not this one or any accidental deaths)is that they could have been prevented.
