So you pre-judge everything without having any exposure to it at all. I really can't take your opinion seriously then, you're just hating it because of what it's perceived to be based on others hating it. If you actually sat down and watched the show with an open mind and not saying to yourself "this show sucks, i hate it", you might be mildly entertained.ckdish wrote:Nope, I'm judging it-- and I feel quite capable of doing so.Escapay wrote: Awfully harsh there. Do you regularly watch the show to make sure it's bad or are you basing it on a few viewings?
Well I'm not "pre-judging" it, I'm simply judging it. I've seen the show, unfortunately. My correctness doesn't require you to take me seriously. Also, I didn't suggest the aim was to have one's mind numed, I just think it happens, perhaps unconsciously on purpose.Escapay wrote: So you pre-judge everything without having any exposure to it at all. I don't watch TV to have my mind "numbed". I watch to be entertained, to be invested in characters, to take the stories seriously (or not seriously). If I wanted to numb my mind, I'd be staring at paint dry or dust gathering in a corner.
